Emiles pov

I went to my room and sat on the bed out of sudden compulsive instincts I got up off my bed and sat at my desk and pulled up the ships ai unit.where should I get a wedding ring from alpha? I ask.What do you mean Sir the ai responds as if he's confused .I mean I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me and I want to know the Best place to get a wedding Ring .well there is a shop on the lower level of this halcyon class destroyer if you know what she likes and what color they might can make you a custom one or find one that suite's you're criteria .thanks alpha I Say and oh before you
leave I'll program the map into your helmet Alpha says with a smirk.I know what you're thinking and you better not Tell Bella or I will accedintally drop a wrench in your terminal I say while smiling.leaving I turn and run Right into Bella asking what her favorite color is she says red why.oh no reason in particular I say quickly brushing her question off as if it didn't need to be answered before jogging to the store on the lower levels hoping their not closed yet as I make my way to the store I get to the armory and an alarm goes off and I make my way back to my locker to get my gear .when I reach the armory I get my weapons out of Lock and put my gear on .as my girlfriend comes in in full combat drop gear with her weapon in one hand I ask her what's going on hoping she knows.some Marines got pinned down and need assistance.OK so where we dropping I ask and she looks at me and smiling says feet first into hell .laughing I grab her hand and we make our way to our pod's our other two teammate's meet us at the pods and we get in and drop.as we land on the planet's surface with our usual finesse pop our pod's open with a Hiss of an airlock and come out shooting and running.
Glancing over at the odst on my left I see him drop and uncloacked elite with a combat knife that was laying on the ground stopping to pick up his rifle he gets shot once in the left shoulder by a elite with a covenant carbine and dies I run over and pull his dog tag's from around his neck.and Bella run's over to me shouting he's gone come on or we will be too I shout back yeah yeah just a minute.and then I get up and grab
my ma5b from where it's laying on the ground running towards a group of brute's as fast as possible and blasting away I hit a few degrading their shields enough to make the kill and I make the mistake of looking over at Bella to see what she was doing letting my guard down for just a second the third brute took advantage of this swinging his spiker out with enough force to send me flying and when I fell to the ground my helmet hit the ground shattering showering me with Glass,bit's of metal and plastic ripping it off my head I dropped my empty assault rifle and picked up a plasma sword off a fallen elite all while the battle still raged on.

Bella's POV

Emile goes flying across the field and and gets up ripping his helmet off then gets up and run's the brute through with a plasma sword from a fallen enemy the rest of our squad seems to be holding their own pretty well while I'm looking around a suicide grunt runs at me and I quickly dispose of it hoping this fight will be over soon Emile goes to a rifle on the field and picks it up.walking over to me he says damn brute busted my helmet and now I have to go blind looking at him and smiling I say well that happens sometimes you just have to get a new one from the armory when we get back to the ship.

Emile's POV

I guess you're Right still sucks walking in the blind I say and empty the already empty clip from my rifle loading another one in and racking the a bullet into the chamber let's go I say picking up a odst helmet off a fallen brother reaching down to get his dog tag's as well and putting his helmet over my head and silently thanking him I start to fire away at the enemy's ranks.

I pickup the ring from the shop looking at it with pride and hope I pay what the cashier asked for it and I have her put in a special package.as I walk back to bella's room I knock on the door and I hear her trip over something and say damn box.silently laughing I stand at her door when she opens the door with a pained look I ask if she is alright and I pull the special box out from behind my back and she asks me what it is and what it's for.well you know we have been dating two years now so I thought .getting down on one knee I pop the question and pray she says yes.and Mutch to my surprise she says yes.grabbing my fiancee in a bearhug I let go of her for a minute and slide the ring on her third finger and put mine on as well and hug her again and we enter her room and shut the door locking it and have a go at it Timeskip

Emiles pov
I'm finally getting married isn't it great I ask my best friend Mark.yes but did it ever occur to you that we just fought a covenant swarm and one why did you choose now.as Bella walks over to me I smile and say ready.

Bella's pov

Man. I love him is all I could think as he asked if I was ready at one time I was starting to think he'd never ask me to marry him as I walked over to him and we pulled our helmets off he led us into a kiss .

Emile pov

Kissing her made me happy and we couldn't have chosen a better day to get married the sun was shining and we didn't lose anyone in the fight our teammates were gathered around us smiling and laughing as we committed to each other when we had put the rings on eatch others fingers we kissed as single people.
