Well... this took longer than expected. I was planning to release this much earlier but somehow my hands grew a brain of it's own.

*Insert ugly sobbing* I only wanted to have the heroin at least make an appearance in this chapter but seems like she'll have to wait!! *more sobbing*

Is that self indulgent?? I think its self indulgent. Do I care? Hell nah! This whole thing is self indulgence anyway so meh~

Anyway here is a monsta chapter nearly reaching 3k words. I was actually planning to add more but didn't want to, idk 'stuff' it too much(?) What am I even saying it's not a bloody turkey!! Am i making sense??

Oh and also, my laptop's charger just passed away, n writing on mobile is *paiiiiiiiiiiiiiin plus more sobbing*

"I know he wasn't right in the head but this is pushing it!" snapped Ray as he prepared to strike.

"Wait, something is wrong" stopped Yue to which Ray threw a 'Really bro? You gonna deprive me the pleasure of making my claws on him?!' look.

Jadiel has never quiet liked Vinx (Yue), that much was apparent but he wasn't demented enough to murder an alliance member, more so their Master's ward. Though he was very much convinced Jadiel would leave him for death if given the chance...

Ironically Melcant specialises in healing magic and Jadiel was Itesis' head healer.......

No matter the situation Jadiel would always maintained the perfect, unapproachable aura of an ascended mage. His image was everything to him, to which he clung to almost like an obsession. So greeting someone with his sword is what he would consider barbaric and below him. Melcant was also best known for their scholarly and diplomatic ways, which is why their island was tasked to lay claim on this region.

Right now he looked depraved, nothing like an accomplished and unattainable mage. His pupils were dilated impossibly wide, leaving his dandelion eyes as a thin ring, he was panting raggedly, his dark hair, always so immaculate were in a haphazard mess around his face, slowly moving around with the mass of mana radiating off him and his veins, probing against his jasmine skin, looked like they were going to burst, all showing the clear sign of a mana surge.

A mana surge occurs when there is an irregularity in the flow of mana through the body's channels. It can happen at any stages of magic and forces the mage in a destructive state until his channels explode from the force.

It is advised not to meditate alone in case a mage go into surge because it usually requires another mage to regulate the flow of mana by infusing his own into the affected one if the surge persists.

Jadiel extended his hand to call back his sword still planted in the wall and charged mindlessly at Yue (Vinx). His strikes were not hard to avoid given his current state as he swiftly dodged left and right with deep gashes along the path following his steps.
