The girls saw something that scarred them for life. They saw an old man holding a butcher knife. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants with some blood all over him.
"Okay, maybe if we stay still, he won't hurt us." Samantha said.
"Can't stay still. Gotta run," Shylah said as she started running with the other girls behind her.
The were running for about 10 minutes until they lost the man.
"Okay, we need to leave." Shylah said. "I knew it was a bad idea to come here. I knew we shouldn't have did this."
"Shylah's right," Brianna said. "We should leave."
Samantha sighed. "Okay, but, there's one huge problem."
"What's a bigger problem than seeing a murderer in the freaking woods, Sam?" Shylah asked.
Samantha replied, "I can't remember how to get back to my house."
"Are you serious, Sam?" Brianna asked. "So, we're basically stuck out here at 3am in the middle of the woods surrounded by god knows what?"
"Not necessarily." Samantha said. "Maybe one of us has a phone."
"I don't have mine," Shylah said.
"Neither do I," Samantha said.
"I have mine," Brianna said as she pulled out her phone. "Shit. There's no signal."
"Well, fuck," Shylah said.
"Okay, well, maybe we can just keep running." Samantha suggested.
"Why?" Brianna asked.
"That man is coming back," Samantha replied.
The three girls started running.
About five minutes later, Samantha shouted, "there's a house, we can go in there."
The girls ran into the house with the man not far behind them.
