After Charms class was over Hailey and Raven made their way to transfiguration but not before being flagged down by Lavender.
"Hey guys what class do you have next" Lavender asked us
"Transfiguration why?" Raven told her
"Ok be careful Professor Raine's not in the best of moods today"
"Ok we'll see you at lunch" Hailey told her
Lavender waved goodbye to them and they continued on to their class.
As Hailey and Raven made their way to transfiguration they saw who they assumed was Professor Raine talking to another Professor in an empty hallway.
"Some of these students are just so dull." Professor Raine muttered, "They're like muggle glow sticks I just want to grab them and snap them and shake the shit out of them until the light comes on." He continued in a particularly annoyed tone.
Raven and Hailey silently giggled as they walk in class and take their seats.
"Lavender wasn't kidding when she said he was in a bad mood" Raven whispered to her
Just as Professor Raine walked in Raven noticed she was sitting next to a particularly angry slytherin with his head down on the table. She was going to ask him what was wrong until Professor Raine started to speak.
"Hello and welcome to your first transfiguration class of the year."
"Now can anyone tell me the definition of Transfiguration" Professor Raine asked
He looked around the classroom until he laid his eyes on the slytherin he had seen that morning.
"What is your name?"
"Rin Roku."
"Can you tell me the definition of Transfiguration?"
"Transfiguration is the family of magical spells that are used for changing objects from one type of thing into another."
"Yes that is correct transfiguration has many uses from transfiguring normal everyday objects to partial human transfigurations. It did cause us a bit of problem back in the last wizarding war due to death eaters Transfiguring themselves into all manor of disguises."
"Take out a quill or pen and a piece of parchment and we will begin."
