I followed him out the back door which led me into a corridor, which in turn, led me to an ally way. "What are you doing here" I asked him, he turned around and looked me in the eyes "I just came in for a drink" he replied innocently. For some reason, I didn't believe him. "How did you get out of jail so early? You still have to serve another 2 years." I asked sounding very curious, "That's a really long story, but let's just say, I escaped with the help of a friend." he answered.
I was shocked "When did you escape?" I asked him, still struggling to believe what I had just been told. "A year ago" he replied softly. I didn't know how to respond to that, so I stood there in shock. But the next thing he said, had left me speechless, " I still love you. Do you care? Even a little bit?"
