It's been a week since I last saw Karl and Esmeralda. I don't know why, but I feel that I should call Karl and talk to him. Michael has been awfully distant towards me since that awkward day. It's so weird. I just can't believe Karl is back. I keep wondering about how he managed to get out of prison.
"Hurry up Hanna or we're going to be late!" I hear being called from the other room. Erika and I are meeting up with some friends at the pub. When we got there, we started talking about all kind of things; and that's when I saw him standing in the corner. I stiffened as I saw him walk out the back door. I stood up, " I'm going to the bathroom" I announced to my friends, and then proceeded to follow him out.
