Michael just sat there staring at the wall. "You're telling me that he's the Commandant's son?"
When I nodded he added, "So when we were at camp you two had a relationship?"
I nodded once again.
"You don't love him do you?" asked Michael.
"No that was a long time ago, now I have you and I love you" and as soon as I said that, I realised it was my first time saying I love you to Michael, and secondly, that I didn't actually mean it. Also, that Karl was shaking with anger.
Karl stood up abruptly and spat as he dragged Esmeralda out, "Here, this is my address. Write to me when you realise who you actually love. Don't say it when you don't mean it".
I stood there too shocked to move.
