I hurry to my locker, holding the note clenched tight in my palm. I keep my head down like always, keeping out of trouble. But that doesn't work.

Someone has stopped me in my path and now stands infront of me. I look up, Audrey- the head cheerleader-. She has her hands to her hips and smiles at me cheekily. She never has talked to me, or even taken notice of me.

"Hey" She says, kindly. I never really knew her that well but I've always thought that she was the nicest one in the popular group.

"Hi" I say, cocking my head slightly in a questioning manor.

"I heard you and Aiden are going out, is it true?" She asks me, leading me to my locker until we reach it and she whispers.

"Uh- Who told you, Uhh that?" I ask, stumbling my words. I feel my cheeks getting hotter and hotter. It became a rumour, of course.

"Everyone has seen you with him" She whispers, leaning in closer. I get uncomfortable and look down, picking at my nails. "No, I would never go out with him." I state, she backs away, this was all she wanted to know. She turns around but then looks back to me. "Do you want to come sit with me?" She asks, I look up again. What's the harm of sitting with them? Maybe I can talk to Aiden then because even though I'm freeking out about the note, I really want to talk to him again.

I follow her into the cafeteria where it's crowded to the point you couldn't walk 5 metres without being bumped into or squashed. We manage through it after a while though.

We sit down at the popular table, everyone welcomes me but doesn't say a word. I feel uncomfortable, being in the middle of the popular kids. Not to mention the strongly built ones that look like they could rip my arm off with one pull, and the girls, applying make-up and talking to their boyfriends. Aiden is no where to be seen right now.

Where did he want me to meet him? I look around the room. Not here.

Why did he say to meet me? But then I see the door swing open and Aiden and Kyle stalk in. I don't get why he was so depressed about me. Did he care about my feelings? Cause I was fine.

They walk over to the table and he smiles at me slightly but then turns back. He takes a seat two people away from me. I can't help but examine his features for a second. His trace of his chin is masculine and his lips are soft and delecate, his green eyes are amazing, I can't help but smile when I look into them. I snap myself back towards the group when I see Aiden turn towards me.

"Done checking him out?" Kyle says, looking to me, I couldn't help but think he was attractive to. I feel my cheeks go a prominent red colour. "I- I wasn't checking him out" my cheeks get hotter as everyone laughs in the group, they we'ren't picking on me or anything, they were laughing as it was a joke. I turn to say Aiden has turn pink as well.

"Shut up" I laugh. But inside I feel my gut burst, I have never been this embarrassed in my life.

*-*-*

They seem to let it go after a few minutes but I see that Aiden hasn't stopped blushing and I have caught his eye a few times. Was he just as embarrassed as me?

I look back to the crowd. Then I feel someone tap me on the shoulder, I turn around and Aiden stands there with his hands in his pockets looking down. I smiled slightly and nodded, he leaded me out of the cafeteria and into the grass area.

"What is it?" I ask, looking at him. I was pretty comfortable talking to him, but then this happened.

"Uhm. I was wondering if you would like to uhh go out to dinner tonight?" I was shellshocked. My mouth opened wide. The most popular guy in the school just asked me out. What do I say? I don't like him that way, I mean he is attractive, but you don't date someone just because they're good looking, it's personality, Aiden was nice to me but I still think he can be an arrogant jerk sometimes.

I decide to go, maybe he didn't mean it as more than friends so I just say yes and we walk back, it was completely awkward the rest of the day. I was sure Aiden was sitting behind me with a huge smile across my face, but luckily he couldn't see me, I wasn't happy for this date, I mean get-together.
