HE CONFESSED

"Are you alright?" Chanyeol asked.
"Does it look like she's alright?" Kai asked.
"I just couldn't stand being in there with them, they are being mean to me for no reason." You said.
"So, What are we going to do?" Chanyeol asked.
"I have no idea." You replied.
"Let's sit in class." You said.

Me, Kai, and Chanyeol sat in class waiting for lunch to be over, unfortunately, I have a class with Joy, Mina, doyeon, and Soojin. You sighed.

After lunch,
A lot of students started to walk in class and they sat at their desks. Mina, doyeon, Joy, and Soojin came in at the same time. Mina was talking to the 3 of them like she liked them again. I don't understand what's happening, does she still like me?

During class,
Me and Chanyeol was working on a project until Mina walked up to us..

"We need to talk." Mina said.
"We can't just walk out of clas-" you said but you got cut off.

Mina pulled my arm lifting me off my seat. Kai stand up him and Chanyeol but I told them to sit.

"What's wrong?" You asked.
"I have something I want to tell you." Mina replied.
"What is it?" You asked.
"I'm no longer your friend." Mina replied.
"What? After those times I kept apologizing to you, I did everything I can to make you happy again." You said.
"I don't accept your apologizes, now stop calling me and blowing up my phone." Mina said.

Mina walked back in the class, and I started to tear up but I didn't cry. You sighed. This day.... I walked back in class and sat down. Chanyeol asked me what happened. I couldn't answer him and I replied "let's get back to work."

After school,
After school, me, Kai, and Chanyeol walked out of the school. Chanyeol said bye to me and Kai, today we had to work so I had to say bye to Kai.

"Wait!" Kai yelled.
"What?" You asked.
"Let's go somewhere, I'll treat you to BBQ." Kai replied.
"I can't, I have to work." You said.
"It will be a few minutes." Kai said.
"I can't be late or I gotta work the night shift." You said.
"We'll go next time." You said.
"Let me walk you there." Kai said.
"Okay." You said.

Kai walked me to work. We was talking about what happened with us when we weren't seeing each other. Spending time with Kai for about a few minutes was worth it. I'm happy he came to me.

"Did you visit your mom?" You asked.
"Yes, I visited her before I came to your school." Kai replied.
"Was she happy to see you?" You asked.
"She was, she made me breakfast." Kai replied.
"Ah, that's nice." You said.
"What time do you get off work?" Kai asked.
"7:00pm." You replied.
Kai was silent.

At work,
Me and Kai said bye to each other. Another day at work. I saw Chanyeol cleaning off the register's table. He said hi to me and I waved back, I went to the storage room and got a broom and mop....

A few minutes later,
A few customers came and we served them. Having this job is tiring but it's worth it....

After work,
7:00pm,
After work, I got a call from Kai.

"Hey Kai What's up?" You asked.
"Do you see me?" Kai asked.

I looked around for Kai but I couldn't see him...

"No I don't see you." You replied.
"I'm behind you." Kai said.

I looked a behind me and Kai was smiling at me. I hung up the phone...

"Kai? What are you doing here?" You asked.
"To see you, where's Chanyeol?" Kai asked.
"He already left." You replied.
"Ahhh, well let me take you somewhere." Kai said.
"Where?" You asked.
"BBQ." Kai replied.
"Let's go." You said.

We were headed to the bbq place. But my dad called me..

On the phone with your dad,
"Hey dad." You said.
"Hey honey, where are you? It's getting dark." Your dad asked.
"I'm with Kai, we are going to eat bbq." You replied.
"BBQ? You guys can come here." Your dad said.
"I made bbq here for dinner." Your dad said.
"Okay I'll tell him." You said.
"Bye dad." You said.

I hung up the phone...

"Kai! My dad actually made bbq at my house, you wanna go there?" You asked.
"Sure." Kai replied.

We walked to my house and I opened the door.

"KAI! Long time no see!!" Your dad yelled.
"Hahaha, it has, how have you been sir?" Kai asked.
"I've been good, what about you. I know idol life is hard." Your dad replied.
"It is sir, I've been well." Kai said.

My dad hugged Kai and Kai hugged him back. Ahh cute!

"Let's eat!" Your dad said.

All 3 of us sat at the table. We ate our bbq and my dad asked......

"Why haven't you guys asked each other out yet?" Your dad asked.
Me and Kai looked at each other.
"Um, let's not talk about that." You replied.
"Actually, imma be totally honest with you sir, I do like your daughter." Kai replied.

I looked at Kai. Did I just hear the "L" word? Oh my gosh, Kai likes me?

"Oh really?" Your dad asked.
"June, how do you feel?" Your dad asked.
"Um." You replied.
