Aurora (Aurore) is a princess with a special story to tell.  She grows up unaware is a princess.

Far away from Aurora, there lives this prince named Robert. He was born with no health problems. He ate some wild mushrooms at age six years old and lost his eyesight as a result. His parents died when he was fourteen years old, but he was adopted by a king and queen.

His mother is Queen Natasha (Natalie),  his father is King Fredrick (Gabriel) and his sister is Princess Linda (Alya).  His best friend is Andrew (Adrien).  He has a maid Alice (Alix).

Now, Robert was the type of prince who never let his blindness get him down.

"Mother, father, and sister someday I will meet a princess and marry her!" Robert says.

The queen, king, and princess look at each other in dismay at what he just told them.

Back with Aurora, "What is it you want to tell me?" Aurora asks.

Aurora's father, King James (Ivan)  answers, "Aurora, I decided it was time to let you know that you are a princess!"

Aurora giggles.  "You must be joking, there is no way I am a princess!" She says.

"Oh, but you are my daughter,"  King James replies.

"I can not be a princess because that means I have to marry a prince.  I do not want to marry a prince," Aurora protests.

"You must never be near any needles at all," He tells her.

"Why not my father?" Aurora asks.

"If you touch a needle and your finger is hurt you will die,"  Her father explains.

"Oh, father!  You worry too much!"  Aurora replies.

"Your sixteenth birthday is coming up soon," King James says.

"Father, was I was not told sooner that I am royalty?"  Aurora asks.

"Your mother made me promise when she was on her death bed not to tell you until you were about to turn sixteen," The king answers.

"All these years I kept my promise!" He tells her.

"I do not see what the big deal is anyway!"  The king states.

"Well, you would not because you were not the one lied to all this time,"  Aurora says angrily.
