Loving You (Book 1)

Chapter 1

Todorokis POV
"IT'S YOUR POWER!" Midoriya shouts at me cause my right side to burst into flames. All of the sudden I am back in my bed, it was just a dream. I check my phone to see that I woke up before my alarm. I keep having the same dream from my fight with Midoriya during the sports festival. Ever since that day we have become friends, getting closer each day. For some reason I can't stop thinking about him though.

I lay back down in bed knowing that trying to sleep some more will be useless. I just stay staring at the ceiling until I have to go to school. I can't wait to see Midoriya.

Time Skip

I walk into the classroom and head straight to my desk. A few of my class mates have formed small groups talking to each other. I don't pay attention to them however, until another group walks in. It's Midoriya along with Uraraka and Iida. I hear bits and pieces of their conversation. It sounds like they are still talking about the sports festival.

Everyone's conversation was interrupted when Mr. Aizawa walked in.

"Good morning class" he said in his usual sleep filled tone. "Like I told you before the sports festival, scouts were watching you participate. Some of those have sent offers to you for internships. I will put the results on the board for you to see"

I don't bother looking I already know where I'm going. Reluctantly, I chose to do my internship with my father.

Izuku's POV

I look at the board in shock. I didn't get any offers. It's probably because breaking my bones in order to use my quirk is a little weird. I immediately zone out, being consumed with my thoughts. My body goes into auto pilot when the bell rings.

Eventually the bell rings for lunch. I still haven't pains attention to anything except my thoughts. I look up from my rice and notice Todoroki coming towards my table. I feel my heart start to beat faster and my face get hot. Then my thoughts are only about him. I don't even notice when he asks if he can sit down. It wasn't until Iida was gently hitting me that I was brought back to reality.

"Oh uh hey Todoroki. What were you saying, I was a bit distracted"

"I was just asking if you could scoot over a bit so I could sit down"

"O-oh, yeah of course!" I scoot down the seat of the booth, now in between Iida and Todoroki. Every once in a while my arm would brush against Todoroki's and I could feel myself start to blush again.

"Midoriya, are you alright? You look a little warm." Todoroki alas me and he genuinely looks concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine. I've just been a little distracted"

"Is it because you didn't get any internship offers?"

"Yeah actually. That kind of bummed me out. I don't know what I'm going to do now." I tell him not completely lying.

"Cheer up Deku, I'm sure something will come around!" Uraraka said cheerfully with a big smile on her face.

"Yes positivity is very important. You can't loose hope" Iida reassured me. Those few words from my friends actually helped me get through the rest of the day.

Until All Might came up to me after lunch telling me he has some news to tell me after school. At least there's only two more hours to go.
