Shoto's POV

This week dragged on. It didn't help that my father got even more intense about training. He pushed me so hard that every inch of my body is in excruciating pain. I tried everything from hot baths to yoga but nothing is helping my sore muscles. The only thing that kept me going was my dinner with with Izuku and his mother tonight.

An hour before I have to leave I start to get ready. Before I had to the shower, I pick out a nice outfit for tonight. I pull out my favorite pair of black jeans and a maroon button up shirt. When I step into the shower, I feel the hot water run down my body. It feels good on my tight muscles.

When I get out of the shower I change into my clean clothes and put on a pair of black high tops. I grab a jacket and head out the door.

"Where do you think you're going Shoto." I turn around to see my dad standing behind me.

"Out." I say coldly

"When will you be back?"

"Whenever I get back." I reply before walking out the door. I still have 30 minutes until I'm supposed to be at Izuku's but it's only a 20 minute walk. I decide to give him a heads up.

S: Hey Izuku, I'm on my way over but I might be a few minutes early.
I: Thats okay Sho, I cant wait to see you
S: Neither Can I. I love you
I: I love you too.
I: Im gonna finish getting ready. I see you soon and be safe please

It's only been a few hours since I saw him but even that is too long to go without seeing his sparkling eyes and bright smile. It's too long to go without hearing his swear voice.

I get distracted by my thoughts and before I know it I'm knocking on Izuku's door. It takes a minute but he opens the door with a giant smile on his face.

"Shoto, I'm so glad you're here." He pulls me into a tight hug and closes the door. He looks amazing right now. He's wearing a gray sweater with a light blue dress shirt underneath and khakis.

"You look great." I tell him while we hug.

After a few seconds we pull away from the hug. "My mom had to run to the store to get a few more things for dinner so it's just us too right now."

"So what should we do?"

"I was thinking we could watch a movie and cuddle on the couch." He gives me a sweet smile while blushing.

"I would love that." I reply and lean my head on his shoulder. Izuku grabs my hand and pulls me over the couch and picks out a movie.

"What movie did you pick out?"

"Why don't you watch and find out." Izuku teases me. The movie starts to play and it's Thor Ragnarok. Izuku sits down next to me and I pull him closer until he's on my lap. He puts his arms around my neck and I wrap mine around his waist. The movie is about 30 minutes in when we hear the front door unlocking. Izuku jumps up as the door opens.

"Izuku Im home, is your friend here yet?" She calls from the hallway.

"Yeah he's here. Do you need any help with the groceries?" Izuku asks and Mrs. Midoriya appears in the living room.

"There's a few more bags in the car but I can go get them if you take these." She hands some bags to Izuku and I get up to help.

"Mrs. Midoriya is nice to see you again. Let me take one of those bags for you." I smile politely

"Oh thank you so much Shoto. And please call me Inko."

When she returns with the rest of the groceries, she starts to make dinner. Izuku walks into the kitchen and starts to help his mother cook. I stand there watching them for a minute. Watching them reminds me of when I was younger and helped my mom cook. She's the reason I love cooking so much. I sight of Izuku and Inko makes me miss my mom and all the good times we had together.

"Would you like some more help Mrs. Midoriya's- oh sorry, Inko?" Both her and Izuku look up at me and smile the same bright smile. Now I know where he gets it from.

"Oh Shoto, I would hate to trouble you with it."

"I don't mind I would really love to help." I reassure her.

"Well okay then, get over here." Inko says.

She's so sweet and caring. So many things remind me of my mother again. I can't get sad now, not when the other too are so happy. I look over at Izuku and smile, he doesn't know about the flour on his nose. I'm tempted to reach over and wipe it off for him, but I don't want to ruin what Izuku has to tell her.

The movie is still playing in the background but we don't pay much attention to it. We're too busy talking and cooking. We're so busy with everything that the time flies and dinner is ready. Izuku goes to wash his hands as Inko puts the food on the table. When he gets back he takes a seat and I sit next to him. I can tell he's nervous. I wish I could do something to help him right now.

Izuku's POV

Shoto helps us cook with a slight smile on his face. It was the same one when he was cooking at the training camp. He must really love to cook.

It doesn't seem to take that long until we're all sitting down. Shoto is right next to me, seemingly perfectly calm, unlike me. It just now hit me what we're about to do. I try not to panic as I start to think of how to bring everything up.

After a few minutes my nerves get the best of me and I can't eat anymore. My mom notices this.

"Izuku are you okay? You look sick." Hearing the worry in her voice almost kills me.

"I'm fine. I just have something to tell you." My voice is shaking and quiet. I'm surprised anyone could hear it.

"What is Izuku? Is it something about school? You know I how I feel about you going back."

"No it's not about that. It's about me." I take a deep breath. "And Shoto." She looks at me confused.
"Mom, you know I love you and I want you to know that you're the best mom ever. You always support me even when you're scared and worried and I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now." Tears start to form in my eyes. 'Don't cry right now. Please don't cry' I think to myself.

"I'm gay." The words sound strange to my ears. "And Shoto is my boyfriend. We've been dating for about five months now." I can't hold back my tears anymore and I start to cry. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

She reaches over the table and places her hand on mine.

"Oh Izuku, I love you so much, and nothing would ever change that. You will always have my full support. No matter what you do."

I reach up and wipe the tears off of my face and Shoto places a hand on my knee. I can't believe I have so many amazing people in my life. I love them all so much.

After we finish eating, my mom takes care of the clean up. I offered to help but she politely refused. Shoto and I ending up going to my room put another movie on on my tv. It was an anime movie that came out recently called "Weathering with you" it's supposed to be really good.

About halfway through I notice Shoto seems restless, he keeps squirming on the bed.

"Are you okay Shoto? You seem upset about something." I look at him concerned. He takes a deep breath before answering.

"See you and your mom cooking together and being happy made me think of my mother and how much I miss her." Shoto confesses.

"Oh I didn't know. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. It's not your fault. But the whole thing got me thinking that I want to go visit her." He looks at me with his piercings eyes. "And I want you to come with me."

"I would love to go visit your mom with you." I smile at him and place my hand on his right cheek. Right on his scar. He leans into my touch and I pull him into a kiss. When we break away I pull him close and we lay down together refocusing our attention on the movie.

He's so warm and comfortable, I start to fall asleep in his arms. I'm almost completely asleep when I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. It's a text from Uraraka. I look at it and it's a link to a newspaper article. When I look at it my heart sinks. It's a picture of Shoto and I holding hands from our first date. I hand my phone to Shoto and he reacts the same.

"What are we going to do?" I ask him worriedly

Just then his phone goes off as well and it's his father.
