After receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Bijan Sarhangpour traveled to Treviso, Italy, where he received training in Refractory Engineering. He has also studied Corrosion Engineering in Huston, Texas, heat and cold insulation in Rome, Italy, flooring, and coating systems in Treviso, Italy, concrete repair, and seal off in Moscow, Russia, and management and safety in Krupp/Gelden, Germany.
