Efi shouldn't be crying just yet, she got up and continued to walk. Leo on the other hand was running for a small, lie eating, cute dragon girl! He didn't pay attention to anything else. Efi saw a bright light from a distance, she was saved! She ran toward the light, hoping it was her papa.
"Papa!" Leo saw the young dragon, she was crying her eyes out. Efi hugged Leo tightly, until Leo flicked her forehead.
"I said 8 o'clock Efina." Efi dropped her head, still crying.
"I'm alive at least, papa..." Efi replied.
"You idiot..." Leo hugged Efi tightly.
"Let's get you back to bed." Efi's face lit up.
"Can I have a piggy back ride, papa?" Efi beamed.
Leo sighed. "Sure." Efi jumped on Leo's back. Leo walked back to the small town.
Once they arrived, they heard a male scream come from one of the alleys. Leo signaled Efi to get off, Efi jumped off his back.
"What was that papa?" Efi questioned, as she peered from behind Leo to see what's in the alley.
"Could be anything" then another scream from Carol's house. Efi jumped from the loud screech.
"Efi go check out Carol, I'll take care of this." Efi nodded to Leo's orders, Leo headed in the alleyway. Efi headed to Carol's house, sort of confused on where her house was. Efi felt lost again in the town, Efi saw a lot of lights on. Efi finally found Carol's house.
"Carol?" No answer.
"Carol? Carol?" Efi started to knock. No answer. Either Carol was a hard sleeper, hunting, or she's choosing to not answer. Efi pounded harder on the door, causing the door to fall forward. Efi found one Carol laying on the floor, dead. Efi poked Carol, she was cold, lifeless, none of that warm peach color in her skin. Efi then noticed the teeth marks in Carol's neck. The bite of a vampire.
