Scene #1
The Flash (Barry Allen) wakes up after a quick nap.

Barry: That is the longest sleep I've had in a long time! An entire hour. Watch out folks Barry Allen breaking records over here.

*Barry checks his phone before getting out of bed and starting his day.*

Barry: That's weird... The news is saying Thomas Wayne is set to appear at a gala tonight?... Surely that's a typo.

*As he flicks through more websites, now on his feet in a panic, Barry realises that it isn't a typo and checks his contacts to call Bruce.*

Barry: Ok, surely this is a cruel joke! Someone is spreading a story about a guy that's been dead for years and now they've taken Bruce off the face of the earth! The only article that mentions him is... Oh... My... God!

*As Barry reads the headline, he faints and collapses to the ground.*

*The headline reads: "In mourning, 25 years on from the tragic death of Gotham's prodigal son Bruce Wayne."*

Scene #2
Barry regains consciousness and hears a loud knock at the door

Mysterious voice: Barry! Wake up! We'll miss our reservation!

Barry: huh? What the heck...

*Barry slowly gets up and answers the door.*

Barry:... Mum. Mum!

*With his eyes almost bursting out of his head, he holds his mother in his arms and accidentally squeezes tighter than he originally intended.*

Nora Allen: Hugging me a bit too tight there son.

Barry: Sorry mum. I can't believe I'm seeing you right now... Here, in front of me.

Nora Allen: Ok weirdo... I can't believe we're running late for our breakfast. You haven't been working all night again have you? I can leave you to it and we can reschedule.

Barry: No! Never leave mum. Let's go to breakfast.

Scene #3
Barry and his mother sitting in a restaurant, he is still in disbelief.

Nora: Will you stop looking at me like that, you're scaring me.

Barry: Sorry mum. I just can't believe it. It's been so long.

Nora: It hasn't been that long. But I am loving all the extra attention from you for a change. What's been going on with you lately?

Barry: A lot actually. I feel like I don't have any control.

Nora: We're never given more than we can handle. Remember that ok? You've always been good at making tough decisions, even when it's not what you want, you make the best choice for everyone. Never stop that Barry. Gosh I'm so proud of you. Your father would be too.

*Barry then remembers with his mother back in this timeline his father never went to jail for being falsely accused for his mothers murder.*

Barry: Dad's gone?

Nora: It's almost been three years since his heart attack. How could you forget?!

Barry: I... I didn't forget mum. I didn't realise it was so long ago.

*Barry breaks down in tears, hearing that from his mother shocked him.*

Nora: Are you ok?!

Barry: Yeah... Sorry, it's just uh. It's been a weird day.
