In all his life, Kim Nebok had never ever been this torn before. He was being asked to choose between a lady he barely knew and his dongsaeng! He knew that he had to save Duri, but....
Huge chocolate eyes belonging to Cha Duri, said dongsaeng, stared at him, true fear dancing in them. Nebok had never seen the ten-year-old so scared... So weak.... So... His age.... Before..... The water below him seemed to stretch out for miles, hungrily waiting to swallow him.
He couldn't.... He couldn't let Duri die..... He was still a kid....
But....
At the same time......
He... He didn't want to go back home, to face the reality of his mother's death.....
It was too recent... Too painful....
It hurt too much....
His grip loosened....
"Come on, Nebok. Do it."

He just met Duri...
He wasn't important....
His usually rough hands only hindered him....

He couldn't go back home....

"N-Nebok-hyung?...." Duri's terrified voice echoed through his eardrums, but it flew out of his other ear.
"Meanne....." Nebok whispered, making eye contact with the red-scarfed kid. "I truly am, Duri....."
"W-What are you talking about...?"
"For this."
With that, he...
He committed the biggest mistake of his life.
He let Duri go....
He let him fall into the deep, deep ocean.
"N-NEBOK-" the Tobot pilot was swallowed by the ocean, leaving nothing but an everlasting regret as a gift to Nebok's heart.
"D-Duri...." he collapsed on the ground. Tears erupted from his eyes.
What did he just do? Over a human life...
He chose his own selfish pain to save.
"Great job, Nebok," Acnee sounded pleased and proud for him. As if killing a human life was a commended action. "You did great."
"N-No... NOOOOOO!!!!" he screamed to himself, tears falling down like rainfall.
How could I....?
