“Tiffany! Come on, let’s go, it starts at 7:30 and if we don’t go right now we are going to be late!” yells Taecyeon who is waiting impatiently for Tiffany in the living room while she does some touch ups done before leaving.
“I’m coming jeez! I’m a girl too you know.” She shouts from the washroom.
“Well can’t you be a girl in the car?” he complains before she finally comes out of the washroom.
Then suddenly everything was in slow motion for Taecyeon. She wore a white, long sleeve, off the shoulder knit dress that stopped at her thighs which attached to her body showing off her curves and brown laced up ankle boot heels with wool cuffs. Her dark brown hair was wavy and she carried a red clutch that added to the Christmassy feel of her outfit. It was his first time seeing her in such attire. He gulped and looked at her in awe as she walked towards him.
“So, what do you think?” She asks showing off her dress.
“N-nice” he stutters, “Now, how about me? Am I presentable enough?”
She steps away from him to get a better look and props her arms to a thinking position. Taecyeon wore simple black dress shoes, slacks, a plain white button up collared shirt, and a black blazer. She was impressed by how well he looked in proper attire.
“Yeah,” she nods, “you have a tie?”
He grabs his tie from the coffee table and holds it in front of her.
“Well, put it on.” said Tiffany impatiently.
“I don’t know how.” He admits.
She looked at him absurdly, “How do you not know how to tie a tie?”
“Never needed to” he shrugs.
She rolls her eyes and grabs the tie from his hand. She steps closer to him and wraps the tie around his neck then begins to tie it. As she ties it, they can feel the awkward tension between them. She tightens the tie around his neck then looks up at him, still holding onto his tie. The last time their faces were this close together was the time when he saved her from falling, except this time it felt… different. They stare into each other’s eyes before Tiffany quickly lets go of his tie and takes a step back.
“We should go…” she insists to prevent the moment from getting more awkward.
“Yeah, lets.”
