"Once a deep and powerful connection between two people has been created they become a vital part of each other's lives. No measure of distance or duration of silence can prevent the outbreak of smiles and laughter or the strong desire to leap into...

Girl with a Pearl Earring is an oil painting by Dutch Golden Age painter Johannes Vermeer.
The painting went by various names over the centuries but it became known by its present title towards the end of the 20th century after the large pearl earring worn by the girl portrayed in the painting.
I read many articles, putting different meanings together of what the painting really meant. A young woman in a dark shallow space with an intimate setting that draws the viewer's attention exclusively on her. She wears a blue and gold turban, the titular pearl earring and a gold jacket with a visible white collar underneath.
Unlike many of Vermeer's subjects, she is not concentrating on a daily chore and unaware of her viewer. Instead, caught in a fleeting moment, she turns her head over shoulder meeting the viewer's gaze with her eyes wide and lips parted as if she's about to speak.
Today I'm wearing pearl earrings.
The Vermeer painting was today's pick. I found myself thinking about it all the way to work. All through filling out orders and organizing files in my office. It wasn't until Krystal rang me requesting that I give a client the tour of place.
"This is Kim Jisoo, she'll be giving you the tour." Is the first thing I make out as I step into Krystal's office meeting the backs of two men. I recognize one of them to be Kim Taehyung's manager so naturally I guess the man in the seat next to him had to be Vante; the artist Jiyong was so fascinated with.
"That's fine."
The other man stands up first and adjusts the heavy brown coat against his broad shoulders. I keep a friendly smile on my face with my hands placed gracefully in front of me. Once he turns around, my face contorts a bit suddenly feeling familiar with the side of this man's face.
Quite strawberry man.
"Very well, you'll meet back here." Krystal says. Pointedly looking at me as if she's telling me not to screw anything up. "It'll give us some time to really go over what Mr. Kwon is ready to provide."
"Perfect."
"If you'll follow me." I start, gesturing towards the empty hallway to which he carefully steps around me. I shut the door behind me before I follow to stand by Kim Taehyung's side. "Before we start, can I get you anything? Water? Coffee? Tea?"
"The strawberries were horrible." He blankly says and stares at nothing in particular.
"I.....really?" I ask. Genuinely shocked because my strawberries were perfect. I ate them this morning.
"Mmm," he hums.
"Sorry."
Again, he doesn't say anything. Only staring at me like he's studying me or he's simply waiting for me to get on with this tour. He's quiet just as he was in the supermarket. I try to read his body language, looking for the opportunity to say something and start up a conversation but I had figured out in the last three minutes that the man was difficult to read.
