La had invited Candice out to lunch at a local cafe. She had told Candice over the phone that she wanted to reconcile with her. Being the nice girl she was, Candice had accepted her offer. Plus she was curious to see what La wanted.

Listen, Candice, I'm sorry about getting up in your business. It won't happen again. La apologized. I totally believe you. From now on we'll respect each other's boundaries. Candice said as she took a sip of her coffee.
Agreed. So Grant and I split up because I had an affair, and because our marriage was not working out, even though he and I banged like rabbits everywhere and all the time. La explained.

Oh. I'm sorry, but I have to go. I have an appointment somewhere. La lied as she gathered her stuff and left.

When Candice got home that afternoon, she saw some flowers in front of the door. While she had bent down to figure out who they were from, La had snuck in the house and quickly made her way to the bedroom. She opened one of the drawers from the chest of drawers and took one of Candice's panties, then before leaving she spotted Grant's watch and his grandmother's wedding ring. She took both of them and managed to sneak out of the house. Before going back to her house, she had made a pit stop at the post office and mailed the watch and the panties to JR.

That night, La was sitting in her car pleasuring herself while sending sexually explicit messages, posing as Candice, to JR.
