The Voices
“Which should i go,” The girl asked standing on the cooled wet street barefoot.
“Go left,” the voices whispered.
“But theres only a dumpster down there,” the girl said.
“Hied,” they keep whispering in till she turned and walked towards the dumpster in the alleyway.
“But it smells like rotting fish,” she says disgusted by the smell.
“Just hied” they said. She could hear the police officers coming so she hide behind the dumpster nauseated by the smell. The police went by not expecting the she turned. She gets up from behind the dumpster
“Where should I go?” She asked.
“Go to the door.” they whispered
She slowly walked up to the door terrified what might be on the other side, she opened the door a bright light went through the crack of where she opened the door then she slammed it closed.
“Are you trying to get me coat?” she asked.
“Your name if you want to know your name” the voices whispered over and over again
She walk in side with the lights blinding her.
“Which way?” she asked.
“Go straight forward and then turn left” the voices said as she walked. She goes in to the office and picks up the papers
Liza Brewer got sent to the insane asylum when she was 5 years old, for hearing voices. She is now 12 years old. She is an orphan.
She hears a door close and she drops the papers.
“Oh no i’m going to get caught,” she whispered to the voices.
“You're going to be fine we will get you out of here,” the voices whispered to her.
“I guess where going to have to look for her tomorrow,” one of the officers said.
Liza backs up in to the desk and it is makes a screeching noise.
“Did you hear that?” he said as he walked to the office he walked in.
“Guys I found liza” he said. She tries pushing through to get passed but he grabs her .
“Liza we don't want to hurt you,” he says
Then the voices went crazy saying
“don’t trust them they're going to hurt you” the voice going wild saying it over and over again. All the officers come running to help.
“Thats not what the voices say,” liza says Then she screamed trying to make the voice stop but it didn’t work
“Liza what's wrong?” the officer ask. She tries to run again but she is stopped she screams once again trying to make the voices stop the light start flickering from the storm and the officers start flipping out she stopped screaming and the light stopped flickering
“The voices won’t stop,“ she said crying.
“Why won’t they stop?” she asked.
“Why are you listening to them if they hurt you?” he asked. Then the voices stopped.
