Seyeon's POV

I've been stressed lately since Nayeon started working in the company. I think Hyunjin noticed that I've changed a bit.

Hyunjin: Is something bothering you? You're acting weird lately.

Seyeon: I'm fine, nothing is going on.

I felt bad for not telling him and seeing him looking at me with his worrying look made me weak. I had to tell him.

Hyunjin: Are you sure? Babe, I'm here you can tell me everything.

Seyeon: I can't handle this anymore... She's trying to ruin my mental health. It wasn't my fault!

I started crying heavily, I really couldn't handle it anymore... I was tired of this.

Hyunjin: Who? What are you talking about?

He came closer and sat down on the couch right next to me, and pulled me into a hug. I loved his warm and full of love hugs.

Seyeon: She works in my company, she wants to ruin my life, she wants to take you away from me, she wants my company.

Hyunjin: You need to tell me who she is.

Seyeon: N-Nayeon....

Hyunjin: Lee Nayeon? I know you're not on good terms but why would she do that.

Seyeon: She hated me from the day we met her. Remember when I fell from the stairs?

Hyunjin: Yeah, what about it?

Seyeon: I was threatened by Nayeon and she pushed me. She wanted to hurt you... I had to do what she told me... I didn't want to do that... I really didn't

Hyunjin: What did you do?

I had to hurt myself, so she won't hurt the boy that I fall in love with in the 8th grade. Since I was wearing a skirt I slightly pulled it up, showing the scars.

Hyunjin: Baby... Why did you do that? Why did you hurt yourself?

Seyeon: I had to protect that handsome boy that I fell in love with in the 8th grade, because he took care of me when I was sick which made my heart beat like crazy.

Hyunjin: Seyeon-ah...

Seyeon: It hurt when I saw you and Nayeon getting along well, then I saw her kissing you. She told me many things, that were the reason I disappeared for a month... Do you know where I was? I was in a psychiatric hospital, getting a treatment...

Hyunjin: Why didn't you tell me that? I always was on your side, who do you think beat that guy who liked you? I did, because he just wanted to sleep with you... I couldn't let him hurt you... I don't know what Nayeon told you back then, but I'm sure it's a lie. She kissed me but I pushed her back and I clearly told her that I like you and my feelings are never going to change.

I was looking deeply into his eyes, and I knew he was telling me the truth. Hyunjin was a bad liar and always will be. Many things happened in my life, and I lied to my friends a lot, saying that everything was fine. After that my parents got divorced, boys knew how hard it was for me.

*Time Skip*

Wedding was getting closer and closer. Our parents already took care of everything so me and Hyunjin just had to wait for the D-day. The wedding is on 25th September and on the 30th I have flight to Philippines for my business trip.

I was sitting in my office doing my work, and Sohyun Eonnie came in.

Sohyun: Ms. Yang, someone is here to see you. Should I let her in?
