Part FOURTEEN

Seyeon's POV

We were eating breakfast with our family, and I was just waiting for the right time to tell them about my pregnancy. Earlier we talked about my accident and all that stuff. Before we got to the restaurant Jeongin called me and said that Step-Mother wasn't really happy about me being alive, so it was suspicious to me. I mean you never know, and I hate her and she hates me so she could do anything to harm me. 

Seyeon: We have something really important to announce.

Mr.Yang: What is it?

Everyone stopped eating and were looking at us. I took a deep breath and said it.

Seyeon: I'm pregnant.

Mrs.Hwang: Really? How long?

Seyeon: It'll be about 9 weeks now. I found out before I went to the Philippines so I was about 3 weeks.

Mrs. Hwang: So you found out pretty early.

Seyeon: I had this weird feeling that I may be pregnant so I took the test and there was a really fade line, so I went to the doctor and he confirmed it. I wanted to tell everyone before going for a business trip but If I told everyone about it, everyone would be just worried more.

Mrs. Hwang: Oh honey, you're such a strong woman, just like your mother.

Seyeon: Same for you, Mrs. Hwang. It must've been so hard to raise Hyunjin especially after two of us became friends.

Mr. Hwang: It was almost impossible. Two troublemakers is just too much.

Mr. Yang: I was the one that fell into a river because of them.

Everyone was laughing and having a great time. But of course I noticed that my lovely step-mother wasn't having fun at all. Probably because we don't have memories with her, even if we did they wouldn't be good.

As I know my dad, tomorrow everyone will know about my pregnancy. He just loves when our name is trending everywhere.

Seyeon: I'll have to leave a little bit earlier since I need to attend a press conference.

Mrs.Hwang: Already?

Seyeon: Yes, since I'm the CEO, and I'm pregnant now I can't risk my health. If that person that was behind the plane crash will come back, I may get hurt. So I need to be very careful. And I'll be working from home starting tomorrow.

Mrs.Hwang: Oppa, you're so lucky to have such a great daughter.

Mr.Hwang: Especially, that Seyeon had to took over your company.

Mr.Yang: I'm proud of her too, but your son is great too. I'm sure he's taking good care of my daughter.

Mrs. Hwang: If he wouldn't, I would kick his butt.

Everyone laughed at Mother-in-law words. After a while I had to leave, so Hyunjin decided to go too, to drive me to the company, since I have the press conference. We said goodbye, and went to Hyunjin's car.

Hyunjin: Can't believe this is happening.

Seyeon: What? Me going back to work, or you becoming a dad.

Hyunjin: I literally graduated from high school almost 3 years ago. Jiwoo and Jeongin graduate next year, while we are going to have our first baby.

Seyeon: Right? Everything is happening really fast, but I'm happy. Cause I'm with you.

Hyunjin: I'm happy too, and don't worry no one will steal me from you or you from me.

Seyeon: Awww, I love you but please start driving I can't be late.
