Part THIRTEEN

Seyeon's POV

Before we got out of the helicopter, I quickly wore a mask, glasses and my hat. Apparently some celebrities were coming back from somewhere, so it means that there will be people from TV stations and all. And since I've been reported missing, now probably everyone knows me. We successfully sneaked out of the airport and I got into a car. We had two police cars with us, one in front our car and one behind it. It took quite while to drive to my neighborhood, so before we arrived it was quite dark, but we landed pretty late than we we were supposed to cause they had to check helicopter. They literally checked every single corner of it.

Hyunjin would be already home, if he's not working late, so I decided to call Jieun eonnie.

Seyeon: Eonnie, I have to ask you something.

Jieun: What is it?

Seyeon: Is Hyunjin still at work?

Jieun: No, since you disappeared he stopped working late. He would mostly be at home or with the boys. Oh and I know that your father was inviting him to family meetings.

Seyeon: Can you do something for me?

Jieun: Of course.

Seyeon: Call Jeongin and ask him if there's someone at the company. Just tell him that before I disappeared I asked you for a file. I'll send you something so just print it and if he says that there's no one, ask him to meet you and give him that.

Jieun: Why are you hiding?

Seyeon: I may be in danger, so no one can know yet that I'm safe and that I'm back. And I need to pick up something at the company.

Jieun: So the accident was planned?

Seyeon: We think so. Well, I survived but it really affected me mentally.

Jieun: Your family and Hyunjin should know that you're safe.

Seyeon: They know it. When I was still in the Philippines, I told my secretary to give collaboration contract to the company that wanted to collaborate with us. They signed then and send to my company, so of course they'll know something's up.

Jieun: Alright, send me the file. I'll text when I'm gonna find out if someone's in the company.

Seyeon: Thank you.

Before we got to my neighborhood, I asked Mr. Jeong to take me to the company. Later I got a text from Jieun Eonnie saying that there's literally no one, cause they closed it and told everyone that they have a day off. Mr.Jeong parked the car, and I got out of it. I had to wore a hoodie to hide my face completely since we have cameras everywhere. I sneaked into my office and started looking for a secret file, that I forgot to put back into the room on the 6th floor. I heard someone walking and light turning on outside the office. (it has a big glass wall, and it has curtains.) I quickly hide myself.

Jeongin: Oh?! Why is the light on here? No one used the office.

Hyunjin: Maybe, her secretary had to come in for something and she forgot to turn off the lights.

Jeongin: Sohyun Eonnie wouldn't do that.

Hyunjin: So what are we looking for?

Jeongin: There's a missing file in the secret room on the 6th floor and I'm assuming that noona took it and forgot about putting it back. I still think it's quite weird that the office was open and the light was on.

Hyunjin: I don't know what to think to be honest. I'm not functioning well lately.

Jeongin: What's that? Oh, it's an earring...
