percy is missing

the realization

[a/n this whole story is in annabeth's point of view]

on this pretty normal monday morning i got up and made my bed thinking about the day ahead and i got  dressed and brushed my teeth.after all of that my brother Malcolm and I started waking up our younger siblings .Once we heard the conch horn ringing though camp, the athena cabin started making its way out onto the dining pavilion.My eyes darted over to the poseidon  table,a habit which i could never shake ever since i started dating seaweed brain.When i looked over ant the poseidon table i saw that perce was not there,i rolled my eye think stupid seaweed brain probably overslept

after breakfast i went over to the athena cabin and got ready for sword fighting class that i had in 15 minutes .Before  i headed over to the arena i went over to the poseidon cabin to see if percy was still sleeping.i rapped on the door calling his name.'percy,percy are you in there i' i said'coming in there in 3,2,1'

what i saw was a messy cabin with an unmaken bed that was most likely percy's and clothes strewn everywhere.but no percy was found in the poseidon cabin.i was i little worried but i pushed back that worry.he's probably talking to the fishes or something.

after sword fighting, I went searching for grover.he was in the forest talking to some of juniper's nymph friends.'hey annabeth 'grover said 'you look worried ,what's wrong'

annabeth:well have you seen percy around lately?

grover:no i thought he was with you 

annabeth:no

grover:well he might be in the stables or

talking to the fishes 'we said in unison 

'i know grover it is a very seaweed brain thing but i'm going to head down to long island sound and see if he's there and if  not i'll go to chiron'

*later on that same day*

i've searched everywhere percy is not here okay now i can officially start panicking

as i make my way to the big house i think of all thing thing that could have happened to percy

monsters,monsters,monsters, or... MONSTERS well now i think it could be the gods but they are monsters anyway.i asked chiron the same question but he shook his head and said'sorry annabeth dear i have not seen percy all day'

my face dropped and my suspicions rose
