The good thing about her situation was that even though it wasn’t by choice klondike had to listen to her because she was the only person left for the job which gave her a kind of new freedom so naturally the first thing she did with her new freedom was to turn up half an hour late and saunter in while watching Blackwell’s face turn several different shades of red in anger.

It was almost worth being forced on a suicide mission.

“Good morning.” She said smiling across the desk at Klondike but keeping her eye on Blackwell.

“miss Morgan.” Klondike inclined his head and smirked, so she wasn’t the only one enjoying Blackwell’s discomfort. “Good of you to join us.”

“my pleasure.” Bonnie told him. “What am I doing today?” She asked brightly.

“Well first we’re going to run you through the plan and give you your identity and everything so you can learn them and then do an overview of your skills and see what we can improve.” Klondike announced. “So why don’t we go down to the planning room and take a look at the blueprints.” He stood up and skipped to the other side of the room to open the door and then down to the spiral staircase and vanished.

“he doesn’t actually expect me to follow him does he?” she marveled, she was starting to see why Klondike kept himself hidden. He was very weird.

“I believe so.” Blackwell responded openly glaring at her and she shrugged before following Klondike down the stairs to find him waiting half way down holding open yet another hidden door and looking very surprised to see her.

“Expecting it to take longer?” she joked and flounced inside to see a full corridor with doors coming off, each door was closed and had a small plaque on stating it’s number. “You’re architect really liked invisible doors and long forbidding corridors didn’t they.”

“Yes she did. I think it reminded her of her childhood home.” Klondike explained re-appearing next to her. “She grew up in a top secret command centre during World War Three and was one of the few not sent to prison camps when it got captured.”

“but she became a Slain and came here instead.” Bonnie finished. “so really she was one of the unlucky ones.”

“It depends on how you look at it.” Klondike observed before taking off down the hall to door labeled E248 and walking in turning on the light as he went. inside was a room slightly bigger than Klondike’s office but cosy and very office like with a large desk and computer and projector surrounded by chairs and covered with small files. Five of the chairs were occupied and they all turned around when she entered the room making her feel very awkward at the intensity of their gazes before realising that they had been sat in the dark and started to wonder why. Klondike sat down in a seat at the front of the room and head of the desk and nodding to the only free seat opposite him. Bonnie rolled her eyes but sat down and looked around expectantly.

“You’re early.” Said the person next to her after a solid minute of silence, Bonnie raised her eyebrow at him and took note of his appearance, pale, ginger and annoyingly tall.

“am I not allowed to be?” She inquired and he turned scarlet and mumbled unintelligently.
