Music And Love - Chapter 19 (The final chapter)

Chapter 19

What?! My guy was leaving? I felt my tears were building up and finally escaped and flowed down my cheeks. Haymon saw me and whispered, "I'll be back, Amelia. Remember me. Please?" My vision was blur because of my tears so I wiped them away.

"Will I ever see you again?"

"I hope so. We still have a concert. Please go there so I could see you?" I could see tears building up in his eyes but he was holding them in. 

"Haymon. I love you. Remember me?"

"I'll always will. But...you have to remember me too, you know. And don't let any other guy get you. 'Cause you already have the best guy you could ever get here." 

I smiled and hugged him. He kissed me and stood up. "I'll see you...at the Christmas Concert then?" I nodded and that was the last time I saw him...

4 months later...

I woke up from my sleep and checked the date. It was a Sunday. I went into the bathroom and saw...Haymon's toothbrush. I wondered how was he after that day. Did he found someone else to replace me? 

I wasn't able to contact him because my phone broke. And I did not written down Haymon's number. A text message came from Kelly.

Where are you? We're waiting for you at the cafe! Come on!

I quickly washed myself and changed into my clothes. I quickly drove to the cafe that Kelly and Serene was and I spotted them! I walked over to them and sat down. They already ordered their drinks so I had to order mine. 

The waiter came and I ordered a cup of hot chocolate. The waiter did not straight away went back to the counter but he took something out. "A guy just now ordered me to give you this." he said to me. He handed me an envelope. I opened it and inside were three tickets to the Christmas Concert!

I screamed then I realized that everyone was looking at me with a weird expression. But it did not last very long and everyone went back to do what they were doing. i showed the tickets to Kelly and Serene.

"Those are front row tickets!" Kelly said. I checked and surely, there were front row tickets!

"And it's tonight!" I said while observing the tickets.

"Then lets go and meet your guy, Amelia." Serene whispered.

Night came and the concert was one hour away. I took my keys and fetched Kelly and Serene. They were excited since they kept talking about it in the car. They kept asking each other if they looked nice or whatever which annoyed me a bit. But i was focusing on meeting Haymon.

I wondered if Haymon still recognize me. My hair was down and it grew until my waist. Which was extremely long and I had red highlights in it. I even wore blue contacts. So I looked completely different. And I even wore make-up. Yes, I turned girlie after four months.

We arrived and made our way to the front rows. It was like the first time I met Haymon again. I sat down and waited for the concert to begin. Smokes covered and when it cleared, I saw  them. All five of them. But...why was Haymon at the middle holding a microphone? With...my lyrics!

His eyes scanned the crowd and finally landed on me. "Amelia." he said my name through the microphone. 

Haymon jumped down the stage towards my direction which caused a few girls to scream. He stopped in front of me. His eyes scanned my figure and I knew what he was thinking, I looked different. 

"Haymon." I said.

"Amelia....I missed you." and he pulled me towards him and hugged me. "Amelia...will you sing with me?" he asked me and showed me my lyrics. I nodded and he helped me got on the stage and held my hand.

"I was thinking about you. Thinking bout me. Thinking bout us. What we gonna be? Open my eyes. It was only just a dream..." Haymon started.

"So I drive on back. Down the road. Will I come back? No one knows. I realize. It was only just a dream." he and I sang.

After the song ended, he pulled me and kissed me on the cheek. "I missed you too, Haymon." I whispered in his ear.

The concert ended and we went to Amulet Nuke's dressing room. I saw Samuel and Nick crowding around  Kelly. And Steve was all over Serene. Interesting. Kelly received a phone call and after she talked for a while, she suddenly hung up and screamed. 

"My dad says I can be the designer for Amulet Nuke!" she screamed.

Serene looked at Steve and said, "I'll be staying with them too. I'll be their back-up singer." 

"What about me?" I asked them.

Steve thought for a while and said, "With that voice, you could come and be a vocalist with us." Was I imagining this? I called mom and told her. She immediately wanted me to join them. So I did. Mom packed all my stuff and sent it over to the dressing room where all of waited.

Amulet Nuke had a plane to catch and three of us girls joined them. They lived in a pent house and there was an extra room so they said that we could have that room. On the plane, after we put our stuff, we sat on nice comfy chairs that made me sleepy.

"Wanna sleep?" Haymon who sat next to me asked me.

"Yeah."

"Come lean on my shoulder. You can sleep." I rested my head on his shoulders and all through the flight, I slept there next to Haymon....love you always, Haymon.
