♡Kitanna's POV♡
The next morning after sleeping at Shane's.....

I'm all packed up, and ready to go. Apparently Alpha Killian hasn't come out of his room at the Ruthless Pack House since I cofronted them yesterday. I've already said goodbye to friends and family, and as I'm headed to my car, Zander comes running after me.

Kitty:"I don't want to hear it, Xander."
Xander:"But you don't understand. Just....Please... Let me explain. Then you can leave and never see me again."

I look at him. I really look at him. He has dark circles under his red puffy eyes. And he's wearing the same clothes as yesterday.

Xander:"Please, Kitanna."

Wow. He must be somewhat serious since he used my real name, and not his stupid little pet name. I decided I can at least hear him out, before I laugh in his face and leave.

Kitty:"Fine. You have 10 seconds. So hurry up."
Xander:"The game....Bet....It was all me. I brought up the idea to Killian. I pressured him into it. I wanted you back. I hated....still....I hate that you moved on with him....So... I pretty much challenged him, and his honor....Alpha to Alpha. He only joined in....To fight for you. It was all on me, Kitanna. I wanted....I needed to prove...That you still needed me. I needed to prove it to him....And to the packs... And to myself.....I'm sorry. Don't blame him. There's no reason to loose your last chance at happiness....Over my stupidity. So if you want to blame someone....Hate someone....Well...Your looking at him."

I'm shocked. This has to be the least selfish thing he has ever done....Like EVER. Xander... Well the Xander I know would've let Killian take the blame...And not look back. Maybe he has changed... He starts to walk away.

Kitty:"Xander....Wait."

He turns back and looks at me. Tears are streaming down his face. This is the 2nd time out of our whole lives I've ever seen him cry. And the 1st time being yesterday.

Kitty:"I'm sorry too. I just... I thought I was just a trophy... A pawn used in yalls little pride pissing game. A joke...Something for yall to win..."
Xander:"Kitten....."

He approaches me. He places his hand on my cheek, wiping away my tears. Suddenly.... We're being interupted, by Killian walking straight for us, pulling Leila by her arm. He's got a huge shit eating grin on his face.

Killian:"Tell her...What you told me....Tell her NOW!"

I look around, and both packs have gathered around us. They are all watching us, with curiosity.

Kitty:"Tell me what?"

Killian shoves Leila towards Xander and myself.

Killian:"TELL HER!"

She smiles wickedly at me.

Leila:"I'm surprised you haven't heard from your little besties. And I'm even more surprised Xander hasn't had the balls to tell you, yet. I mean....He did announce it before the ball, to the whole pack."

She looks at Xander. And he looks pissed.

Leila:"You haven't told her, Baby?"

Xander won't meet my gaze. He looks scared, shocked, and just fucking pissed off.

Kitty:"What is it? Someone just fucking say it already."
Leila:"The first of next month...There's going to be a mating ceremony, and coronation....I am to become his Wife, Mate, and Luna...The whole pack already knows... Including your "BESTEST FRIEND" Beta Xavier. And your brother and father."

I look around at my supposed to be family and friends.. and my old pack.

Xavier:"I'm sorry Kitkat....I couldn't tell you.....I'm.... Sorry."

I start tearing up. I've never felt so betrayed... To think I trusted Xavier, Shane, and my father....Fuck them all. I look right at Shane my big bro.

Shane:"Alpha's orders were not to tell you, Kitty. I'm so fucking sorry sis."

I look at the person the worst betrayal comes from...My dad.

Luther:"Kitty....You know how the Alpha's orders work...I'm sorry angel."
Kitty:"So....Because "Alpha" says.....You three....Screw all of you...See family, screw friends, screw Alpha's, and mates.... I'm done with all of you.....AND YOU...."

I look towards Xander, who finally looks at me.

Kitty:"I'm so fucking glad I never mated you. Your a joke of a Alpha, and mate, and you know nothing of love. I....I hate you Alpha Xander Black. You forced my family and friends, to keep the most important thing from me. You forced them to lie to me. And that I can't forgive. NEVER... NEVER...SPEAK, THINK, DREAM, TALK OR ANYTHING REGARDING ME, EVER AGAIN! I hate you all. I guess the whole time...The only ones who I could trust...Who I could fucking depend on...We're the ones....I....That I screwed over because of yall and yalls lies...Which are the Diabolic Pack, and Alpha Killian."

I turn to Killian.

Kitty:"I messed up...So bad. I broke promises, and vows... Because I was lied to...And I've been a horrible mate, wife, and Luna. But...If you'd except  me back...Even as just a pack warrior, or member...I'd be forever grateful. If not...Please just accept my apology...Before I leave and go Rouge."

He pulls me into his arms, and hugs me. With my face buried into his chest I release my unstoppable tears.

Killi:"I accept you, Kitanna... As my Luna, Wife, and Mate... I love you...All is forgive love. You were tricked, by a mate bond, and by the trust of your family and friends. It's not entirely your fault."
Kitty:"Killi....Take me home please."

He walks me to my car. Xaileu and Dorian follow. The rest of our pack gets in our SUVs and follows us home, to the Diabolic pack lands.

Once we arrive, Killi goes straight to our room, and slams the door shut, then locks it. I understand why he's so mad at me. I go up into a guest room, to give him space. Xailey ends up staying with me.

I can't believe my brother, dad, and Xavier....Would betray me like that. And I especially can't believe I just fell for Xander's bullshit like that...So easily. I was a fool... I am a fool.

Goddess help me I'm so lost.

I'm a fool....That was fooled by a fool.
