She most certainly has a task for me 15 year old Lori thought. Mother did have a task but it was definitely not your simple chore... It's something Lori has thought impossible since possibly the day she was born.
She dreaded publicly speaking she had a hatred for communicating to people other than herself but in reality she was a kind soul with not much to offer socially. Lori came down the stairs wondering what her mom would say. Her mom's face lit up when she saw her she could finally tell her the news." Lori! Your father is going to be the mayor" she said with a proud smile all Lori could do was stand there pathetically staring at her mother " Lori are you ok?" Her mother said concerned about what possibly could have happened to her daughter the past four seconds. Her brain thought things like" What if people think I'm a spoiled brat what if I can't make a public appearance!" . She couldn't help but tremble at the thought of such things. The backyard door was open the next thing she thought of was.."Run"
