Anniversary

Annabeth's POV

The floor boards beneath me creak and squeak as I pace, the girls convinced everyone to leave the Athena cabin, just so I can get ready. Thalia looks amused with a knowing smirk on her face. Piper keeps going through all my nice dresses, trying to pick the right one, her kaleidoscope eyes shine. She holds up the red dress Hazel made me get months ago, it's a sweetheart neckline and stops mid thigh, around the waist is a silver sequence like belt, to match are the sparkly black six inch heels.
"Now that we have you're perfect outfit, you don't need to worry, time for hair and make up.", Piper says happily, I groan in response. Hazel and Piper giggle and grab both my wrist, soon they drag me to the Aphrodite cabin. Thalia trails along behind, not as ecstatic as the girls. On the way we run into Calypso, in her hands are flower pots and bags of soil, she has dirt on her jeans and hands, her cinnamon hair is in a fish tale braid to the side. A warm smile spreads across her face when she sees us, at first when Leo brought her to meet us it was awkward at first, but we quickly got over it.
"Hello" her voice light and soft, we smile back and 'Hi's and 'Hey's are heard. She sees the dress and heels in my hands and her smile becomes bigger and brighter.
"Oh right tonight is an Anniversary isn't it?" Her tone is taunting and teasing, Thalia laughs, a mischievous gleam in her electrifying blue eyes.
"Oh yes, I'm betting we'll have little Percys' and Annabeths' running around here soon. Right Annie?" My ears feel hot, I punch Thalia's arm and give her my best glare. Calypso and Hazel are giggling and Piper squeals,
"Oh my Gods Yes!!! Percababies! I call god mom" she yells very very loud actually. That's when they start arguing, I roll my eyes in annoyance, and whistle loudly.
"I'm not having kids anytime soon!" My voice harsh and cold. They seem to realize my tone and quiet down, sure Percy and I had sex countless times but I'm scared if I actually do get pregnant at the wrong age, I would be so thankful to have a child but I didn't even finish high school yet. I don't think I would be able to take of child, not just yet. Thalia grins,
"Come on Annie lets get you ready, Kelp Head will be speechless when he sees you." She wraps her arm around my shoulder guiding me too cabin 10. They all smile hugely and nod eagerly.

*Many Hours Later*

I stand in the middle of the pink cabin, they pull off the sheet on the mirror. The girl staring back can't be me, her hair is straight and styled in a nice way, the black makeup around her eyes make them more intense and beautiful, the corners of her red ruby lips go up. I run my fingers through my now straight, soft, smooth hair, I twirl a lock around my fingers like I normally do when I'm nervous. My bewildered reaction must have shown because they all give me an amused look, truly satisfied with their work. As we head to cabin 3 everyone looks at us, most people giving me second glances, realizing it is me. They block my view of Percy while the guys block his view of me, once we're on the porch our friends move, making a small circle around us. His sea green eyes light up and the corner of his lips twitch fighting a smile, he picks me up spinning me.
"Wow Annabeth you look gorgeous as always." I feel the blush on my cheeks, I look up at him and smile. His hair is still in its messy and untamed manner but that's what makes him handsome. He's wearing suit for once, tie and all.
"You're looking pretty cute yourself" he looks hurt but playfulness in his eyes.
"All I get is a cute, that's hurt" I giggle this time and push his shoulder lightly. He intertwines our fingers,
"Come on"
"Use protection" yells Leo teasingly, everyone laughs and slowly start walking away. Once inside my mind starts racing, all around his cabin are strings of lights hung up, a table is set up in the middle of the cabin. After we sit he hand me a small box with grey wrapping paper, a black bow around it. He gives me his sarcastic trouble maker smile,
"Go on, open it WiseGirl." His voice low. Untying the bow I place the box on the table and remove the paper. Inside the small box is a silver charm bracelet, the little gold charms are beautiful. An owl, a trident, a book, a rose, a wolf howling, a small beautiful crystal and finally a half of a heart with the word 'His' I flip it over and the name 'WiseGirl' is there. He pulls a keychain out of his pocket, on the ring I'm assuming is the other half. His says 'Hers' and 'Seaweed Brain.' I reach across the table and grab his hand.
"I love it! Where did you get it."
"Tyson helped me, but I have something else but it can wait for later."
I grab my gift for him under the table, I got a custom made jersey, it's navy blue and baby blue, on the back is the number three and a trident with the his nickname above them, the second one I asked Leo for help. I look up at his ceiling and swipe my hand, it gets darker and it looks like stars are coming to life, it shows all the constellations and some shooting stars. Percy gives a sad smile and looks up,
"Bob says Hello" he whispers.

*skip the rest of the dinner*

We just started dancing to All of Me by John Legend. Even in heels Percy is still pretty much a head taller, as his lips meet mine Nico and Leo burst into the room, all sweaty and oil smeared faces.
"Everything's Ready." They say at the same time. Percy grins and looks down at me, he pulls me even closer.
"Come on its my final gift." His voice full of love. I run through every possibility on what he might have gotten me, that involves Leo and Nico and possibly others help but nothing really comes to mind. He drags me to the amphitheatre, a lot of campers are here looking excited. We go behind stage and all of a sudden Aphrodite kids rush, taking of my make up, and putting up my hair, I get pushed into a small room with my regular clothing in it, a pair of shorts and camp t-shirt with my converse. I smile and slip of my dress and kick off the heels, soon I look like my old self and leave the room. The Apollo kids take me to the stage right away, Percy smiles brightly and wraps his arms around my shoulders while mine go around his torso.
"There's my perfect WiseGirl, I love you Annabeth."
"I love you to Percy" I whisper. Will solace nods and turns off the regular lights and the stage ones come on, Percy turns on his mic and looks at me
"This ones for you WiseGirl" a happy beat starts playing. Percy opens his mouth and starts to sing, his voice is so melodic and perfect. The one lyric that sticks out me is

During his singing a video plays, it's pictures of us doing things together, and after fireworks go off above the lake, a heart and our names, then
'Annabeth Chase, Will You Marry Me' I look over at him and he is already on one knee holding a small velvet box the world most gorgeous ring in it. He looks so nervous and I can feel the tears in my eyes. I fling myself at him, crying out of happiness,
"Yes! Yes, I will marry you" he kisses me and slips the ring on my finger. The campers cheer and whoop and the Aphrodite kids are going crazy. This was the best anniversary I could ever have.
