Yua kept telling herself she was brave—no matter what. But love had a way of pulling her down, dragging her into a whirlpool of pain and heartbreak. How many times had she cried? How many times had she picked up the pieces of her shattered heart, only to have it broken again? Love was a cruel illusion, and she was its fool.

"Some of the most painful scars: the ones that hurt the most are the scars that can't be seen."

The quote lingered in her mind, a haunting reminder of the invisible wounds love had carved into her soul. She no longer knew what real love felt like—if it even existed at all. Every "I love you" she had ever heard now felt like a lie, every promise a betrayal waiting to happen.

Then, Casper came into her life.

To him, love was the most beautiful thing in the world. "We can't touch it, but we can feel it," he would say, his voice filled with a warmth Yua hadn't felt in years. His eyes sparkled with a hope she couldn't understand, a belief in love that seemed almost naive to her.

But for Yua, love was a liar. It was a thief that stole her happiness and left her with nothing but scars.

Could Casper really change her mind? Or would he become just another wound in her already battered heart?
