Serena's POV
Me and ash decided to leave raichu on the outskirts of town and bring pikachu along to look around pallet town so we can try to find aqua's grandpa to see if he knows where he is, as we're walking around I'm looking at how small the town is.its also very quite, I don't see many people but there a still a couple of towns folk, I'm mostly seeing women at food stands and some on there porches, I'm assuming that there husbands are out fishing of course.
As were walking we start walking up a hill to what looks like a ranch, it looks nice and peaceful for where it's at, far from the town but not to far, as we get to the door Ash is about to knock but stops for some reason.
Serena: is something wrong ash?
Ash: No just I don't know what his grandpa is going to react seeing me after all these years
Serena: I'm sure it will be fine like you said he is a very nice man
Ash: yea let's hope(knocks on the door 3 times)
???: COMING GIVE ME A LITTLE BIT OF TIME THE ANIMALS AREN'T BEING FRIENDLY RIGHT NOW
I see the door open and I see a man that looks like he is roughly in his 50's or 60's, I see he is wearing the typical farming outfit with a shirt and overalls and a farmers hat
???:Ash?
Ash: Samuel Oak
Samuel:ASH MY BOY SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
Ash:(covers ears along with Serena) good to see you to Samuel
Samuel: and who might this young lady be, did you finally settle down with a girl ash my boy
I can feel myself blush a little from my statement I was about to correct him but ash beat me to it and explain what was going on all the from what happened to me in the castle to what happened recently expect for what happened on the way here he skip that argument for some reason.
Samuel: I see so your looking for Gary
Serena: wait is that aquas real name?
Samuel: (narrows eyes at ash)Ash you mean to tell me that your looking for the rest of your team with the princess and you didn't bother to tell her there actual names!
Ash: I want it to be a surprised, so don't tell her about everyone else ok
Serena: Hey no fair!
Samuel: fine I won't tell
Serena: I don't like any of you right now
Ash: anyways Samuel do you know where Gary is right now
Samuel: I do not ash my boy, for all I know he could of been caught or could of been killed for all I know
Ash: you've known him for 40 years how do you not know!?
Serena: wait I it's said that the phantom 4 are people who are very young, so why are people saying Gary is young when he is roughly 45 years old
Ash: because he's not 45 he's 15 years old
Serena: WHAT HOW!?
Ash: it's a funny story actually (chuckles)
Samuel: ash don't you dare tell
Ash: why not is it to embarrassing for you
Samuel: YES AND DONT YOU DARE TELL
Ash: I'm going to tell her
Samuel: no you won't
Ash: yes I will
Samuel: no you won't

Ash: Samuel was 20 when he found Gary
Samuel: SHUT UP
