The Agreement

Tai's POV

I quickly covered my mouth in horror of what I had said. I felt sick. 

"What was that?" Matt grinned, flashing me his fangs.

"N-nothing! I-I said nothing." I choked, trying to cover up the mistake I had made. 

Just then, Darmoth walked up behind Matt. His hungry eyes devoured my body, searching every inch of me with a dripping lust. 

"Lord, we have located the others. What do you wish to do?" His gaze never broke from me. I could hear desire in his voice.  Matt turned to me, a new found determination in his eyes. A soft hand brushed my cheek, pushing my hair to the side and looking me in my Eye. A smirk tugged at his lips.

" Darmoth, take several men and bring me the team. The rest will escort the Queen and I back to the castle. 

Matt POV

I motioned towards four of my men, who rushed to obey me. Darmoth scowled deeply, obviously angered. 

"My Lord," He said through gritted teeth, "Don't you think YOU should retrieve the team? They may still trust y..."

"Darmoth. Are you refusing my order? You must remember what I told you. I will accompany my Queen. YOU will bring the team."

With that being said, I swept Tai off his feet, carrying him bridal style to the white steed that awaited us. I mounted the horse, pulling Tai up in front of me. I motioned for my men to follow, rushing my Beloved back to the palace. 

TAI POV

After what felt like hours of riding, we arrived at a massive castle. The large, gothic type mansion loomed before us,  whispering the dark secrets inside it.  A servant came and took the magnificent stallion back to the stables. Matt picked me up again, carrying me inside the large, looming arch doorway. The inside took my breath away. the vast room was decked  completely with marble floors and pillars, soft gold adornments accented the entire room. A ballroom perhaps? 

Matt carried me up a gorgeous staircase, leading to the most beautiful carved doors. Inside the room was what could only be the Master bedroom. The room was very large, with a pair of French doors leading onto a balcony. The entire room was painted white, adorned with dark blue and... lavender. My favorite color. 

He set me gently on the large bed. I immediately sank into the mattress, showing off how soft it was.  He then leaned in, pressing his lips against mine. The kiss was firm, as though he wanted to keep my attention on him. 

"Tai," He whispered in to the kiss, "Be my Queen. Marry me."

"M-" Matt pressed his tongue against my lips, begging for entrance. I clamped my mouth shut. I wouldn't give him what he wanted. Not yet. I somehow managed to push him away, gasping for air.

"W-what about the team?"

"The team," He smirked, "will go on trial. They are being charged with treason. They betrayed me. They took you away from me. For that, I can't allow them to live."

"NO! Y-you can't kill them! They are your friends!" Tears pushed their way from my eyes, staining my cheeks with their watery trail. Matt turned to look at me. The look on his face went from strong determination, to near heart break. He walked over, brushing his hand against my cheek. Wiping away my tears, he then caressed my face with the palm of his hand. 

"Shhh, it's alright. I'll make you a deal. You agree to marry me, be my wife, and have my children. In return, I'll let the team live. They can become part of my palace staff. I'll even let them stay human. Oh, please don't cry. It hurts me to see you upset."

"Can," my bottom lip quivered, "Can I at least have time to think?"

"Of course," He smiled at me, "The guests don't arrive until 6:00. I want an answer before then."

He then turned to the two maids who had entered the room.

"Help the Queen get ready. I want him to be the most extravagant person there. I want everyone to see what is mine."

The two maids nodded with a smile, before stepping aside and letting Matt out of the room. 

"Alright Your Highness. Let's get you ready."

TIME SKIP~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I stole a glance at the clock. 4:30. The guests will start arriving soon. My mind was racing, was I really about to do this? What would Matt say? What would he do? Matt walked proudly into the room, as I sucked in a sharp breath. 
"You look divine, my Rose." Matt was decked out in a dark blue tuxedo, studded with gold accents as well as a large sword hanging from his hip. His expression quickly changed from happy to serious.

"Have you considered my offer?" I sat for a moment, then nodded my head.

"What is your answer?" I sat still, before bringing my head up slightly. My expression was blank and unreadable.

"I-"

"I will marry you."
