Namjoon's a rare fairy type.

There's different types of fairies where Namjoon lives. His friends Jimin, Seokjin and Hoseok are plant fairies. They usually tend to every flower in their area, making it look so pretty when you pass by. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Yoongi are shadow fairies. They usually come out at night, keeping watch of every plant and animal.

As for Namjoon, he's a water fairy. A rare one too. Namjoon's life source is basically water. The farther he flies away, the more energy he loses. If he goes too far, all color will be drained from him, stopping him from flying.

You might wonder how Namjoon became friends with the Shadow and Plant Fairies.

Where he lives, it's mostly small plants and some trees. Jimin, Hoseok, and Seokjin usually pass by to tend to them. Hoseok had gotten curious and he found Namjoon all soaked from water. So Hoseok took Namjoon and showed him to his fairy friends. Seokjin scolded Hoseok, but was more than happy to see a new friend.

The Shadow Fairies come out every night. On this particular night, Namjoon had strayed too far and was loosing energy very quickly.

Thankfully, Jungkook, one of the stronger fairies, had helped Namjoon. Taehyung and Yoongi had followed him and were surprised to see a water fairy. Yoongi called Namjoon cute and even gave him a little head pat. But after that, Taehyung scolded the latter and had declared that it was their job to look after Namjoon.

Once the Plant Fairies heard, they too had declared it was their job to watch over him.

So now every day and every night, the Plant and Shadow fairies come visit Namjoon when their work is done. They give him little head pats, hugs, kisses and sometimes help him too!
