「Namjoon Central」

King Yoongi and villager Namjoon. What a pair these two were. The servants said they'd see the two playing in the King's huge garden. You could hear the laughter of Namjoon's while he was being chased by Yoongi. They'd soon enter the castle late at night- when everyone was asleep. Oh, the long talks they would have. The long walks through the castle would make Yoongi notice the little things about Namjoon. He learned Namjoon's favorite room was the castle library. He remembers when he first showed Namjoon his library. The latter stared in awe at the amount of books there were. ''I've never seen so many books in one place!" Yoongi recalls him saying. "You can take one home with you if you'd like.'' Yoongi also recalls the long warm hug Namjoon had given him after the statement. "I love you so much.''

Yoongi remembers many things about Namjoon. He remembers Namjoon's first night in the castle. It had stormed very hard that day and the village had almost flooded. Crying, Namjoon begged and begged for Yoongi to do something. His family and friends were in danger and it would pain him to wake up to hear about dead friends. Sighing, Yoongi let the villagers stay in his castle, much to Namjoon's happiness.

Yoongi also remembers the arguments they'd have. He remembers when he shouted at Namjoon to "just leave!" after Namjoon said his family had not approved of the King and his relationship. He remembers the loud sobs he heard echoing through the hallways. He remembers waking up late at night, deciding to visit Namjoon. It had rained hard that night, but Yoongi didn't mind. He had to apologize to Namjoon. He remembers seeing Namjoon's sleepy-shocked face as the door opened. "You bastard! You'll get cold, come in!" God, the town talked the next day.

The last thing Yoongi remembers was that day. He remembers having a big banquet for Namjoon's birthday. The whole village and neighboring kingdoms had come, too! He remembers the smile on Namjoon's face when he was given a shiny engagement ring. It felt like Yoongi was on cloud nine when Namjoon said yes. The cheers in the castle rang through Yoongi's ears as he kissed Namjoon passionately. He remembers the tears, the smiles, the laughter, he remembers everything.

He remembers the evening of their garden walk. The way Namjoon looked at the pretty little flowers made Yoongi's love for him deeper. The night had come by swiftly, so they had to hurry inside. Howling was heard behind them in the deep woods, but they could only assume it was wild wolves. That was until a scream could be heard.

Namjoon had been shot with an arrow to his back.

Yoongi remembers looking back as his smile faded. Time had slowed down. He remembers running towards Namjoon as he saw blood coat the ground. "Stay with me! Please Namjoon! Don't die, please!'' He remembers Namjoon tightly holding his hand, his breathing slowly fading. He remembers the last few tears Namjoon shed. "Yoongi Hyung, don't cry.'' He remembers seeing Namjoon smile through the pain. He remembers, "I'm sorry...I love you Yoongi Hyung.'' He remembers it all. The horror he felt seeing his lover die. The pain shattered his heart.

King Yoongi, now 28, had promised to never love again.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I love you, Joonie.''
