Could be dragonborn before game, mid game, after game or even some random non-dragonborn character/oc/npc.

They come too in a dark cave, stripped of all weapons (maybe some sort of magic blocking spell/armband that won't come off???) Inside a cage.

They are not the only one in cages and they alone.

Here is where the story can branch off.

Who has captured them?

Falmer?

Vampires?

Bandits?

Necromancers?

Cannables?

Thalmor?

Were-beasts? (Basically whatever werewolf/bear/tiger/whatever being you choose)

Reachmen?

Pissed off orc clan?

Goblins?

Daedra worshippers?

You decide.

The tale can go many ways with each group of captures (or capture if you want one on one).

Perhaps they break free and escape, fleeing or killing all in their path.

Perhaps they become sympathetic to their captors or their captors become sympathetic to them.

Perhaps they are controlled via illusion spells and must break free.

Perhaps they give in and let their captors do with them as they please.

Maybe the situation isn't was it really appears to be.
