Chapter 1

Kate's POV
I walked down the empty hallway, looking for something to do even though I should be in class I decided to skip. So here I am just walking around, avoiding teachers and sometimes, running into someone I know. Overall that's all I've been doing until , I ran into the person I didn't want to run into and that was the principal, who looked at me before getting a 'not surprised' look on his face than started talking
"If you're going to skip you should at least hide in the library"
"What fun would that be principle Smith?" I responded jokingly
" none that's the point. But since you're here do me a favor and show him around" he said pointing to the kid behind him.
"Is he a temp?"
"No Kate, this is Nathan show him around and I'll email your teacher that you were helping me." he said holding out his hand.
"deal" I said shaking it.
"Let's go newbie."
"Alright" Nathan replied following behind me.
"So tell me about yourself Nathan oh and by the way I'm Kate"
"Well let's see I'm 16"
"Same here, if you look to your right you'll see the gym" I pointed to the gym door "would you like to go inside?"
"Nah, the principal showed me everything else"
"Ha you're funny, he hasn't shown you everything yet."
"What do you mean?"
"The secret places that every school has."
"I thought they locked them up?" Nathen asked
I giggled "that's what they want you to think come on." I said grabbing his hand and running down the hall to a stairway.
"It's down here" I said
"What is?"
"The secret room, but this is a secret between us got it?"
"Yep."
"Good" I responded before walking down the steps and pressing a button designed to look like the wall. I let go of Nathan's hand but he didn't let go of mine for a second. But then did a second later. The door slid open and Nathan walked into the room. I looked behind me to make sure nobody followed before closing the door. I then walk over to where the light switch was and clicked it lighting up the whole room reveling a garden like classroom. Without the desks
I looked at Nathan who was starring at the scenery and ended up walking up behind him and speaking
"What do you think?"
He looked at me then back to the scenery "it's beautiful"
"Ya and it never gets old either"
he laughs "I would hope not"
I laughed as well before looking at my watch which read 2:15pm
"finally schools over!" I said excitingly.
"Come on let's go" I said walking towards the door but before I could reach the button nathen pushed me against the nearest wall and kissed me at first I was shocked but he kissed me so passionately that sparks ran throughout my body and I ended up kissing back. He stopped for a breath before apologizing For doing it in the first place. I looked up and examined him he had blue eyes and brown hair. And was wearing a shirt that brought his eyes out. He was truly gorgeous.
"It's alright"
He looked at me with an adorable expression before following me outside the school through another door that was in the room.
