"You ready Y/N?" one of the girls who was a backup dancer at the Billboard Music Awards asked you. You still hadn't remembered her name, you actually hadn't remembered any of the girls names. You were here strictly to dance, get paid, and go home. The nice part of this deal was that it got you out of exams. Luckily your teachers gave them to you a week early and you were out of school. At least for the summer.

You reapply the red lipstick for good luck & make your way towards the stage, well at least that's what you thought. You had made two wrong turns, and then a right one. You had not only bumped into another performer, but the performer everyone had their eyes on. Luke Hemmings; surely you had seen him plastered among the walls of your thirteen year old sisters room, but you had never really looked at him before. And dear Lord he was stunning.

"Uh sorry love," he said with his Australian accent. Sure you were a sucker for accents, but you almost melted when you heard his.

"No need to be sorry, I was looking for the stage, and I guess I made a wrong turn or well a lot of wrong turns, but I'm really lost and need to be on the stage like now an-" He cut you off with a chuckle.

"It's okay, I'm actually lost as well. I'm Luke," he said, he said sticking his hand out seeing that you were still on the ground, starstruck.

"Yeah, I know. Wait that sounded weird. It's just that my sister worships your band, and she doesn't shut up. I'm pretty sure she has a crush on the Asian one," you say rambling on, because what else would you do in this situation?

"I'll let him know that" he replied with a chuckle,"uh - I'm sorry, I never caught your name?"

"Y/N" you replied with a smile and a slight blush creeping up your cheeks.

"Well Y/N here we are at the stage,"

"Yeah here we are," you replied with a sigh.

"Backup dancers you have two minute before you need to be on stage!" one of the stage managers called.

"That's my cue I guess," you say turning around slowly.

"Hey, Y/N, I was uh wondering, well there's this after party, and you should come with me, well not with me if you don't want to but you should come, er-uh go?" he asked, his nerves completely obvious.

"How could I turn an offer like that down?" Yo reply with a smirk, and with that you headed to the stage to dance, because you wanted to show Luke what he was in store for.

Having an uncle who hosts the most popular radio station in your town definitely had its perks. You were always getting backstage passes to amazing concerts. Always being around your uncle sparked in interest in the whole radio business, so one lucky summer you were given the opportunity to intern with him. Now of course it included multiple coffee runs in one day, and tiring paper work, but in the end it all paid off. Each of the five interns were given a list of all the bands the radio station was going to interview that summer. Everyone got to pick one artist or band that they wanted to interview, and as soon as you got to the bottom of the list you knew which band you were choosing. None of the other interns even knew of 5 seconds of summer, but you did. And you knew they had a smoking hot bassist.

When the time came you had all the questions prepared and had probably spent weeks deciding on what to wear, how to do your hair, makeup and a long list of things you really shouldn't have worried about. When the boys walked in you were absolutely speechless, but then remembered this was your big shot and couldn't screw up.
