When we got there I said bye to my mom. I quickly hoped out of the car so she wouldnt say anything about giving her a kiss. I looked back but felt guilty because she had a look on her face like she knew I was trying to get away. I ran back to the car but went to her side. She rolled down the window and I gave a kiss on the cheek. She smiled and waved at me blowing kisses as she drove away. When I turned to look back a Emily's house she was already outside. I ran to her with my bag and gave a big hug. "You made it!" Emily cheers. Of course I did. I wouldn't miss it for the world. "Oh Clarissa, you always make me happy." I know that's why we are bestfriends. "Forever and ever?" Emily asks. Forever. I say. She tells me her parents aren't gonna be home all night so I can stay. I yell "yay!" So loud that I can hear it echoing off the walls. "That was louder then your burp at school!" Emily, hey. It wasnt that loud. "Then why did everyone in the lunch room look at you after you did?" Because they love my smile. "But you didn't smile. " after I burped I did. "Okay, I guess so. But let's go shopping." Why? We can use your clothes. "No, trust me. I know a really cute place downtown." Okay. I guess we'll go.
