Chapter 1: Just Another Day?

Hey everyone!!! So here it goes.... I know im not the best writer, but i will try my best... JUST DONT KILL ME IF YOU HATE IT *hides behind Erza* if its super horrible, tell me. OH, DONT I HAVE SO MUCH CONFIDENCE. *sarcasism* so yeah... HERE I GO!!! (I THINK MY CAPS LOCK MIGHT JUST BE STUCK)

~Lucy's POV~

My eyes flutter open, and I groan and the light flooding my bedroom. Its that time of year when the sun goes down way to early and comes up (to my utter disliking) way to early. I drag myself out of bed, knowing that I won't fall back asleep even if I try. Its a Monday, the worst day of the week, and school starts in an hour. I grab my comb and run it through my sleek blonde tresses, surprised that its not full of knots as it usually is in the morning. My maid, Virgo, comes in and gives me my school uniform for the day. I smile at her.

"Do you wish to punish me, Miss Lucy?" she asks with a blank face. I sweatdrop.

"Uhhhhhh. No, Virgo. Its fine...." i say uncomfortably. She bows and leaves me to change. I guess I should be used to Virgo acting like that... but it always freaks me out. Finally, I'm ready for school, with 30 minutes to spare. I swing my bag on my back and make my way out of my room, heading into the enormous Grand Hall of the third floor of my father's house. I call it my "father's house" because ever since my mom died, it's never really felt like home. I sigh, shrugging the bad feeling off. Today was going to be a good monday, I just knew it.

I slide down the banisher all the way to the first floor. That was always a ton of fun, and it lifted my spirits. But that feeling left as soon as I saw my father. He was on his phone, as always, talking to a client. He was by the door, putting his shoes on. He just waves at me, opens the door, and hurries off to work. I roll my eyes. He has never eaten breakfast with me once since my mom died. I didn't feel hungry anymore. So, I decided just to head off to school.

I walk down the sidewalk to school, feeling alone and hopeless. I live so close to the Fairy Tail High that I've never needed to drive. I pull out my phone, decided to text Levy Mcgarden, the smartest girl in my class....or maybe the whole school. Just as I turn it on, some skateboarder with pink hair hits into me, causing my phone, and myself, to go flying into the bushes on the side of the road.

"WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING, YOU IDIOT!!" I shout, letting out all the steam that had been boiling inside me since this morning.

"Eh, sorry.I didn't see you there." The boy says sheepishly, running his hand through his pink hair. He helped me up. Getting a closer look at him, I relize he is Natsu Dragoneel, the notorious bad boy. I had never talked to him before, just heard the rumors that he was known for skipping classes and getting into fights for absolutly no reason. And that he likes to play with fire. He sounded like a compete lunitic to me.

"Its fine, I guess." I sigh, wanting to get away from him as soon as possible. "Did you see where my phone went off too?" We search for it for a few minuites, till he finds it and holds it up guiltily.

"Wow. Um, this doesn't happen to be it, does it?" He asks, his onyx eyes looking down sheepishly. I look up to see, my phone, hanging from his hand. The screen is cracked, and there is a serious dent in the front. My brown eyes shoot daggers at him, and I explode yet again.

"YOUR SUCH A FREAKING BAKA!!!! AHH CAN'T YOU LOOK WHERE YOUR GOING FOR ONCE?!?!" He sweatdrops and gives my puppy eyes.

"Oh cmon, Lucy Heartfilla. Can't you at least admit that...umm.... its only kinda a little all my fault?" I look up at him, surprised that he knew my name. I sigh and take the distroyed phone from him.

"My dad is so going to kill me when he sees this.... I'll have to work for months to pay it off." At this, Natsu gives me one of his signature grins.

"No, I'll pay it off. I mean, its not your fault, so you shouldn't have to suffer, right? I promise you this, Luce. By the end of the month, I'll have your phone replaced." I look at him, shocked. First he calls me Luce, and now he's saying he'll pay off my phone? He may be an idiot, but I guess he's not that bad.

"Well, cya at school, Luce. I won't forget my promise." He skateboards off in the direction of the school. I continue walking. I feel fuzzy inside, and I can't explain why. Oh well. I look at my phone again. Well, there goes texting Levy. But for some reason, I don't seem to mind.

Natsu Dragoneel may be a lunitic, and an idiot, but I guess he's not as bad as I thought.

Well, theres my first chapter.... I know its short... NALU IS COMING...... AND HEART BREAKS, DANGER, AND MIRA. (the altimite shipper) and yeah, a lot of Fairy Tail ships will be in this....
