Chapter 2: The Stripper and The Metalhead

~Lucy's POV~

I finally reach the school lawn, and students are everywhere. Natsu is nowhere to be seen. I pull my bag up my shoulder, looking for my friends in the giant swarm of highschoolers.

"LUCYYYYYY!!!" I spin my head around, trying to locate where the voice came from. I finally spot Erza Scarlet and Levy Mcgarden, standing by a bench near the school entrance. I run over to them.

"Lu-chan!!! I've been trying to text to all morning..." Levy says, a stack of books in her hand. Levy shares my love of reading. Shes never tried writing, like I have, but I think she would be an excellent writer.

"Sorry...let's just say...um.....there was a lttle insident this morning... so you probaly won't be able to reach me for a while..." I explain the whole Natsu/phone thing that had happened to them.

"That dense idiot!!" Erza says, "I'll go teach him a lesson.."

"No really, it's fine....he's not as bad as you think."

Levy looks at me, shocked. "Waittttttttt......your not falling for him, are you?!?" she smirks at me. I blush slightly, but assure her thats not true.

"Pleaseeeeee. I'm not the type of girl to get involed with people like him....and anyways, you shouldn't be talking, not when you flirt with that metalhead, Gajeel, everyday." This puts Levy in an outrage. For the past few months, Erza and I had been teasing Levy about how cute she would look with Gajeel, a black-hair, piercing covered, class-cutting bad boy. He's completly her opposite. And they got into arguments, a lot. And I was starting to think she enjoyed them. After denying her love many times, the homeroom bell finally rang and Levy was released from her torture. I headed to my homeroom, stopping to say hello to my homeroom teacher, Mr. Happy, who was standing outside the door.

"Just a question, Ms. Lucy....But did you happen to bring me any fish today?" The short teacher asked.

"Ummm. No. But, eh, I might be able to bring you some tomorrow?" I said walking past him quickly into the classroom. I guess you could say he kind of freaked me out. I entered and suddenly felt a pair of eyes trailed on me. Onyx eyes. I turned my head to see Natsu, smiling at me.

"Hey Luce, I never noticed you were in my homeroom before. Oh well. Oi, did you know that if you give the teacher fish he'll let you leave homeroom early?" He asked, grinning at me.

"Um, I guess I didn't noticed you either. And I'll keep that in mind." I said, smiling and laughing. Then out of no where, a bucket of ice cold water was poured onto my head. I scream, shocked at this new surprised.

"WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!?" I shout. The teacher is sound asleep, a plate of fish bones on his deck.

"Oh wow, I'm seriously sorry!!!!! That ice water was ment for Natsu!!! Here let me help dry you off." It was Gray Fullbuster(sorry if I mispelled his name or its wrong, I was to lazy to look it up) shirtless and grinning as usual. Natsu looked at him, eyes full of hate. I guess you could say it was brotherly hate.

"YOU WANNA GO, STRIPPER?!?!?"

"WHO YOU CALLING A STRIPPER, YOU BRAINLESS PINK HAIRED-"

At this point I just tuned them out, knowing this wasn't going to end well. Juvia, the offical leader of the Gray-stalker fan club, had heart filled eyes and was talking in third person as always. I just brushed past her and heading to my gym locker, finding an extra pair of clothes. But the time I had changed, first period had already started. I walked quietly through the halls, trying to find some way to delay going to Physics. Just then, a certain pink haired boy came running towards me at full speed.

"Hey Luce!! I've beening looking for you. I wanted to apologize for that stupid jackass stripper."

"Oh, its fine. I guess I needed to cool down, anyways." Natsu laughed at my joke, even though it was encredibly stupid.

"Oi, so I was thinking-since I've only caused bad things to happen to you this morning, I want to make up for them. So, cmon!!" He grabbed my arm, not even waiting for a reply. He dragged me out of the school and into the woods.
