A/N: This is short and a bit jumpy but it's just a filler.

Liam's anger got the best of him and before he could stop himself he punched Theo. Theo dropped like a sack of bricks, out cold. Liam got dressed, grabbed his bag and walked off. With his anger boiling he managed to get home within half an hour.

He was still mad hours later when there was a knock at his door. He yanked it open ready to hit Theo again, only to pause when he saw Scott instead of Theo. "Scott? What are you doing here?" Liam looked around him to see if Theo was with him, only relaxing when he doesn't see the chimera.

"Care to tell me why you're here and not with Theo watching the hunters?" Scott didn't sound angry, he sounded concerned. "Right! About that... You see what happened was.. The thing is... I don't have a good answer." Liam looked down trying to think of a reason to give.

"Liam what's going on, you've been acting weird for a while?" Scott placed a hand on Liam's shoulder, trying to show his concern as both a friend, a brother, and an alpha. Liam sighs heavily and tries to organize his thoughts.

"Alright... Couple of weeks ago I started getting these dreams, they started out small and they didn't mean much. Then they got more vivid and realistic." Before Scott could ask what he was talking about Liam continued on his rant.

"I was having wet dreams about Theo and I. And at first it was weird but I could handle it. Then for the away game Theo figured it out and I knocked him out.. But then he suggested helping each other out... Like you know friends with benefits." Scott's surprise kept growing with each bit of information he got.

"And well we've been fooling around since and today, we figured with the pack tracking the hunters we'd have some time to fool around. Except that it got too heated and he..." Liam looked away and rubbed his neck where the claiming mark was.

He knew what the mark was. When it happened he didn't know but when Theo told him what it was he did he knew. Mason had brought it up around the time that Hayden was leaving. He knew what it meant.

"He claimed me, Scott."

The pack found Theo out cold in the hotel room. At first they thought the hunters had done it but Theo said he pissed off Liam. They laughed at him and helped him up. The hunters had moved on to another city, Scott already had Malia and Derek tracking them.

Theo packed up his stuff and was gonna go home when he remembered that he lives with Liam and Liam probably didn't want to see him. He checked his wallet and counted his cash. He had enough to pay for two nights. He paid and settled in. Staring at his phone, willing Liam to call, cause he knew he didn't have the balls at the moment.

Scott wasn't sure what to do. He had never even heard of a claiming mark. "Alright, um, let's go talk to Deaton. Maybe he knows how to remove it." Scott called Deaton to set up a meeting. At the moment Deaton was out of the state but he'd be back in two days. Scott told Liam to just keep his distance from Theo for the time being. Liam thanked Scott for not freaking out on him, then walked him to the front door.

For three days Theo stayed away from the Greyer household. He didn't talk to either the pack or the Geyer's. And he sure as hell didn't talk to Liam. What the hell would he say to him? "Sorry I claimed you? Can we still screw around?" He'd for sure earn another broken nose and he wouldn't even turn away from the hit knowing he deserved it.

He figured three days was enough so he packed up his stuff, checked out of the hotel and headed home. He was welcomed by silence and a pile of laundry he needed to put away. Theo checked Liam's room and he found it empty. Theo knew Liam wouldn't answer him so he said a silent prayer and called Mason.

"Hey, do you know where Liam is?" He nearly cheered when Mason answered him without asking questions. "He's with Scott at the animal clinic." Theo thanked him and ran out the door and hopped in his truck. He made his way to the clinic, going in through the back door.

Liam and Scott were in the exam room talking with Deaton while he gave a poodle it's shots. "Well, from what I know, a mating mark is permanent. The only ritual that I know of that can possibly break the bond requires a soul sacrifice." He handed Liam a book before going back to his work with the poodle.

"Theo and Liam would both have to give up that part of their soul that is bonded..." Deaton trailed off and looked at them. He wanted to see their reactions before he told them what he knew. "That sounds bad, is it bad?" Liam wasn't willing to go that far. "In normal circumstances it would be something we could handle but given that Theo's soul has been to hell, he may not survive that."

Theo had heard enough. He knew how the pack felt about him. They only kept him around cause he was useful in a fight and had some knowledge about the supernatural. But if it came down to it, they would break the bond whether it killed him or not.

Theo rushed out and got in his truck. He broke a few traffic laws going back to the house. Lucky for him no one was home. He rushed to his room and pulled out his duffel. He started shoving his clothes into it. When it was full he realized he had more stuff then when he moved in. He took the bag to his truck and went back inside.

He checked the hall closet and saw an extra duffel. He hesitated before grabbing it and packing the rest of his stuff. He only left the stuff he wouldn't need. Once all his stuff was in the car he wrote a note to Mrs. Geyer, thanking her for all that she did for him. He placed some cash with it, for everything that she bought him. Then he left.

He looked at the house one last time before driving away. Maybe if he wasn't around, kept his distance from Liam and the pack, they wouldn't do the ritual and chance killing me. He really hoped that the ritual required him to be present. If it didn't, it probably wouldn't matter if he was gone.

He stopped at a mini mart to get some food and drinks for the road and some other needed necessities for a road trip. When he was planning to leave Beacon Hills he mapped out a drive to New Mexico. He had heard of a pack out there that lived mostly in the wild. He could join them and stay far away from the pack.

Liam and Scott looked over the ritual to see if there was anyway to tweak it so they didn't kill Theo but it all ended the same. "I don't want this claiming mark but I don't want to kill Theo either." Liam closed the book and pushed it away. "If there is nothing else to do I can live with his claim." Scott looked to Deaton for help. He was seriously gonna have to talk with Derek, Deaton, and Argent about everything he didn't know.

"I'm afraid there is no other way. The best I could offer is that you claim Theo so it's mutual and one isn't in control." Liam didn't like the sound of that but if it made things equal then he guesses he could handle it. "I should get home and find Theo."

Liam drove to his house, rehearsing what he needed to say to Theo. Not just the apology for what he did in reaction to being claimed, but for ignoring him these last few days. When he got home he didn't see Theo's truck so he figured he was still out. He went up to his room to wait for him or to get the balls to call him.

What he found was a bag of everything Theo had taken or borrowed from him. A note on top explaining that he left. He had heard about the ritual and he promised to stay away if they promised not to try and kill him with the ritual. He apologized for marking Liam without consent and swore he'd never use the mark against him.

Liam didn't realize he was crying till he saw the tear hit the paper, making the ink bleed. He dropped the paper and picked up his phone. He called Scott, starting to pace as it rang.

"He's gone... Theo left..."
