Kylo Ren x Reader short stories

you heard a soft knock at your door, as if the knocker was uncertain. you weren't expecting anyone, perhaps the particularly bothersome hux with belated instructions for the meeting he was conducting the next day. there was no peephole, so you went to open it to see none other than kylo standing there. he looked disheartened and broken, so you reached out to him, wrapping your arms around his torso. he leaned into your touch as he made his way towards your bed.

"can i sleep here tonight? with you?" kylo whispered, barely audible. he settled down on the bed, looking up at you with long lashes.

"of course"

you responded with care, knowing something had happened to convert the leader, usually so confident, into this state.

"baby what can i do?" you pleaded with him, pulling him into your embrace. you needed to be able to be his rock, someone to be raw with.

"just... just don't leave me please..."

"never."

you felt kylo start shaking, his tears wetting your shoulder. his warm fingers trailing from your neck, across your face, and setting upon being nestled in your hair.

"what happened kylo?..." when you directed this inquiry at him, you felt him tense up.

with a shuddering deep breath kylo explained to you how snoke was questioning his loyalty to the dark side.

"i did everything he asked... i killed him y/n. i fucking killed my father for snoke." after confessing, kylo broke down and was muttering incomprehensible strings of words.

you didn't know how to respond. how do you respond to hearing that? deep in your heart you knew snoke was behind it, kylo was completely rattled.

"shh... sleep..." you rubbed his shoulders, in attempts to console him.

you pledged to kill snoke.
he hurt kylo.

he would die.
