The New Student

Chapter 2

Anne POV

As I looked up it was a tall boy with great features, he has a strong jawline and beautiful green eyes (he looks kinda familiar). When I looked at him, he smiled and said,

Person: "Hi Anne! Long time no see, How are you?" (And it hit me...Ash), I replied,

Me:"Hey Ash! Yeah, I know and I'm fine, So? You're popular now, huh?"

Ash: "Yeah, I was weirded out at first on the attention that I was suddenly getting."

Me: "Well, I wouldn't be shock, because look at you! I mean you're handsome, smart, and cute." As I said this he blushed and said,

Ash: "T-thanks Anne, you don't look bad yourself. You are now a beautiful, sweet, and a charming girl, unlike in the past you were a quiet and a shy little girl." I smiled as he remembers the old me and replied,

Me: "People change, Ash" he smiled, before he could reply the teacher came. We bid our goodbyes and the teacher started to introduce herself.

Teacher: "Hello everyone! I'm Ms. Higgins and I'll be your teacher. For it's the first day, I will give free time, so do whatever you guys want."

All of us cheered as Ms. Higgins said that, I'm now with Isabella and Clark the three of us were talking about Ash and Kyle.

As they were talking, I looked around the room and saw the guy that was looking at me earlier, he's wearing a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt and ripped jeans with combat shoes. I asked Isabella about the guy and she said,

Bella: "Oh that's Jake, he's the most popular guy in the school."

Me: "Why?"

Bella: "Well, besides his good looks; no one really knows anything about him except from Ash and Kyle. He is really mysterious and secretive, girls here really tried to get his attention even the popular ones but none of the girls succeeded because no matter how much they tried, no one peeked his intrest."

Me: "Oh..."

I wonder, if he'll notice me...wait, what? Why am I thinking this? Like it's impossible for someone like him to notice a girl like me.

Bella: "His the cold type and got a bad boy vibe around him, so I suggest that you should stay away from him, ok?"

Me: "You know, I can't do promises, remember?"

Bella: "Oh right, but please be careful. I don't want you getting hurt or getting in trouble."

Me: "Yes Mom, I will try not to get into trouble."

After that we all talked about alot of things like, how Isabella broke her arm because of falling off a tree and Clark being a pervert and stuff.

25 minutes later...
Bell rings*

The bell finally rings signaling us that it's lunch break, me and my friends head to the cafeteria. As we order and got our food, we go find a table to sit on.

After, three minutes of searching we finally found one.

Bella: "Finally! I can eat now!" exclaimed Isabella and I replied,

Me: "Yeah, I'm starving!" Clark replied,

Clark: "Enough talking and start eating."

Seven minutes later...

And we're finnish eating, well except for Isabella, she bought a lot of food because "food is life" she told us. Isabella and Clark started to argue about her not sharing her food and it went like this...

Clark: "You know...sharing is caring."

Isabella: "So, if I'm not sharing means, I don't care?"

Clark: "Yeah, pretty much."

Isabella: "Oh...well then, Anne would you want some? grins*

Me: "Oh thanks, but I'm already full."

Isabella: "Ok! See Clark she doesn't
want some."

Clark: "Yeah, well I would want some.'
Isabella: "Nope, you said, sharing is caring."

Clark: "So, give me some!"

Isabelle: "I'll only give to those that I care about, which means I don't care about you!" laughs*

Clark: "Not fair!"

Me: "Well, she has a point."

I chuckled on how silly Isabella is and how Clark is being a baby. As the two of them argue back and forth, I start playing with my phone and all of a sudden an unknown number just texted me it said,

Unknown Number: "Hi! Just wanted to say how beautiful you are and I like your outfit."

Weird...I looked around the cafeteria but saw no one is using their phones only talking to their circle of friends. I replied,

Me: "Who's this and how did you get my number?" He/she replied,

Unknown Number: "Don't worry about that and who I am is nothing to be concerned about all you need to know that I'm a boy." I replied,

Me: "Do you go to my school?"

Mr. Unknown: "Yes, I go to your school and don't worry I'm not some kind of stalker." Before I could reply the bell rang signaling lunch is over. We all hurriedly go to our classrooms and wait for our next teacher to come.

While waiting, I got lost in my thoughts thinking about that mysterious guy, like how did he got my number? And he comes to this school? Great...I got a stalker and don't know anybody except my four friends.

(As I was busy with my thoughts, I didn't notice the teacher come in.)

Isabella noticed that I was spacing out and whispered in my ear saying,

Bella: "Hey Anne are you alright?" I replied,

Me: "Don't worry I'm fine, why?"

Bella: "Well the teacher came in and you didn't looked, you usually look when someone entered the room..."

Me: "Oh! Sorry I was just thinking."
The teacher saw us talking and said,

Ms. Miller: "You two! On the back! Is everything alright? Mind sharing it to the class?" As she said this everyone in the room looked at us, we replied,

Bella and I: "Yes Ma'am, everything is alright and we will pay attention next time."

Ms. Miller: "You better be! I don't want any of my students slacking off." Bella replied,

Bella: "Sorry Ma'am it won't happen again."

Ms. Miller:  "As I was saying there will be no prom this year it will be changed into a retreat, which means we will be staying in a resort for three days and two nights. While staying there we will be going hiking, swimming, and there's a beach so you guys can go snarkling or speed boating.

I hope that all of you would come, but the school board hasn't decided where this event will be part taking, but there are some ideas that are already been set out. So you guys can go start planning, if you would like to come or not."

As Ms. Miller said this I was thinking, if I would join or not it also depends on the savings that me and my Mom have. But I hope that I can come with, because it would be my first time attending an event like this and I will surely enjoy it with my friends.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I quickly took it out, because it might be my Mom texting me, but I was surprised on who it was...
