Benny was so exited and so was Smalls! Smalls wanted to try to hit the ball, so Benny went to left center field. Then Smalls hit the ball. The ball went flying into the another yard. The girl who owned the yard was a girl named Mrs.Chandler. They knew that she was probably mean because she had a very mean dog. The dog had small ears, she was fierce, she was big,and she was scary to! They actually couldn't believe that it was a dog! Smalls didn't notice that the dog was so scary so he started to go into Mrs.Chandler's yard. Benny yelled "NOOOOOO" and ran to Smalls who was over by the fence and got Smalls down. He said "that dog looks very mean so you can't go over there, it even has a small tail!"Smalls said "ok that is fine but when will we get the ball back"? Benny said "we wont"..."we will have to wait until Tomorrow". Then Smalls walked home with his head down, and Benny tried to cheer him up but couldn't. So Smalls went home and went to bed crying himself to sleep because he was having the time of his life,and it had ended! So the next day they both showed up at the sandlot and Benny had gotten a baseball and one to spare. Benny took the first shot and hit a homer!!! Then that made Smalls sad again because he didn't know about the spare baseball. Then Benny said "hey Smalls" and he held up the extra ball, and then Smalls said "WOW THANK YOU"! And they started playing again when Benny hit the baseball and hit Smalls right in the stomach and yelled "HELP THE BASEBALL HIT ME IN MY STOMACH" and then Benny called 911. The y told him to find a adult and get help quickly so they they could bring him to the hospital. Benny rushed to find a adult and as soon as he got out of the gate of the sandlot he saw one of his parents friends. His name was Mr.Mirtle. "Mr. Mirtle" he said " come here it is an emergency!I need help please!" Then Smalls woke up and he said "the ball is gone, where is it"? Then Benny said "I threw it over the fence of Mrs.Chandler because I was mad". Smalls did not like that Benny did that so he looked over the fence and the chihuahua dog looked at Smalls and growled. Smalls stepped back and said "OMG chihuahua dogs are so mean. They don't like me at all."
