Pre Sandlot

Chapter 1

Have you ever heard of the sandlot? Well this is the before of it. Here it goes..... It was the last day of school. Scotty Smalls and Benny Rodrigez were about to get out of school, and as soon as you could say "the jet" the school bell rang. They rushed out of school faster than a squirrel that just ate chocolate. They were running as fast as they could to get home because they were trying to practice so that they would win the cougar fun run. When Benny was running he suddenly came to a halt. He said "dreams". Then Smalls said "what do you mean dreams"? Then Benny said "my dreams have come true". Smalls went up to where Benny was and said "what is it".Smalls looked over and a baseball field that was there. Smalls looked at it and said " I have the same dream." Benny went into the field and noticed that it was an abandoned field. It was not used since the year of 1920 and this was the year of 1993. They went into the field and grabbed a baseball bat that was lying on the sand of the field and the baseball that was next to it. Then Benny threw it up in the air,swung the bat, and you could hear the ringing of the plastic bat as it hit the baseball. The baseball went flying into the air and went WAY across the field and Smalls caught it. They were so happy because that was the farthest Benny had ever hit a baseball.
