when I woke up, nii-san didn't spare me a glace and left out the door. This pissed off the triplets more but it sadden me. Not wanting to be around anyone, I allowed the three to walk around the village in their human forms before leaving. After walking for a few minutes, it came to me that I haven't spent time Naruto, so I went to the old man to get his address. Currently, I'm going to the Red Light District.

As I walk through, I can see some broken down buildings. Most people dressed in rags while others are drunk. I quicken my pace because I start to notice some drunk ugly men eyeing me. Luckily, they didn't approach me and I was able to find Naruto's small apartment. It seems to mostly be empty. Walking up the steps, I go to floor 3 and go to number 205. Knocking on the door, I hear shuffling and his muffled yell to hold on before it opens to reveal Naruto. He wore a big white t-shirt that hung off his shoulder on one side with his clan's symbol on the back. Dark green shorts and his froggie sleeping cap on. His hair was matted and he was rubbing his eyes tiredly. "LuLu-chan?" he asked.

I clear my throat before answering him. "Ohayo Naru-san! I'm sorry that I came while you were still asleep. Since I came back, we haven't had the chance to hangout so I want to do so before tomorrow." His eyes brighten and he lets me in. As I walk inside, I'm hit with a foul smell. Dirty and clean clothes everywhere. Scrolls filled with information on sealing in piles around the corners of the rooms. Ramen cups thrown on the floor, as well as trash. Covering my nose, I glare at Naru as he rubs his head sheepishly. "Sorry LuLu for the mess. I don't get company so I don't really clean...eheh." I hit him upside the head and sigh. "That's it, we're going to clean this place up and get you some food before we do anything."

A rain cloud appears over his head while sulks over to the kitchen. It took us a few hours to get the place cleaned. All the trash was put out and the scroll neatly stacked. Counters and walls wiped down as well as the clothes washed and put away. Naruto created some shadow clones to henge and buy food so the fridge was stocked. Once finished, we landed on his old couch in a heap. "Damn that took up most of the day." he said. "Well this is what happens when people don't clean their place." I said while glaring. He pouts and mumbles.

"So Naru, how were you all these years? Fill me in on what has happened while I was gone."

He sighs while running his fingers through his hair. "It's been crazy LuLu. Found out who my parents are and I don't know if I should be happy, angry, or numb. Then acting like a deadlast is easy yet hard. So many people expecting my mask. The happy smiling baka but not ME. No one knows the real me but you and Kurama." He pauses after saying this name. Hesitant to tell me more....even though I already know. "Go on Naru. You should already know that I wouldn't judge nor abandon you. You can tell me." "Well....-" He starts to tell me about the nine tails. Saying how he met him after Mizuki informed him about why he was hated.

"So are you two friends?" "Not yet LuLu. He's a stubborn furball but I hope one day we will be friends." I nod while listening. It's good that he met him this early. Now they can develop their friendship. "What else happened while I was gone? Did the attacks stop?" He shakes he head. "Not completely but it has gone down a lot. It only happens on my birthday now but I can get away faster." "That's good. At least you don't get hurt anymore. However it's a shame that I won't be able to break some bones." I say while a dark aura surround me. Naru moves away from me slightly in nervousness.

"Hey wait a minute." I look over at Naru. "Do you have feelings for Sakura or was that fake?"

"It was fake. I needed to have a crush on her because if I revealed that I like someone else, I would get beaten." My mouth formed a 'o' in understanding. "If you don't like Sakura then who is your crush?" He blushes and looks away. "Come on and tell me!" He shakes his head furiously and moves to the edge of the couch. "NARUTO UZUMAKI YOU BETTER TELL ME OR I WILL TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR RAMEN!" His head whipped around so fast and looked at me with a face full of horror. "Don't think I won't do it mister."

"FINE,FINE I'LL TELL YOU! Just promise you won't tell them."

I closed my mouth an zipped it. Letting him know that I wouldn't reveal a thing. He blushes and looks away.

"I have a crush on......your brother...."

I blink......and blink some more. When his words finally registered in my head, I looked like a fish out of water. Then I squealed so loudly that Madara could hear me from his grave. Tackling him in a hug I yell, "I'M SO HAPPY! I TOTALLY SHIP IT!" Naru was becoming blue from me squeezing him too hard so I let go. "You're happy about this? I thought you would've disagreed and hit me in the head." Shaking my head I reply, "I would rather you be with my brother then anyone else in this world." "Yeah well, too bad he doesn't like me. I'm Naruto the Deadlast. He wouldn't spare a glance my way." He sais while looking down. His eyes become full of sadness. Losing their shine and becoming dull.

"Don't worry Naru. I'll help you get my brother. We'll make him see you for who you really are."

"Are you sure? I don't think it'll work."

"Didn't I say not to worry? I'll find a way for this is my brother we're talking about. I'll help you and maybe one day, you'll become my brother-in-law." I smile brightly while he smiles softly.

"Even though you're younger, you're more of a older sister."

"Well you were my first friend." {In my whole life. The first one since the day I was originally born.} "I'm here for you like you're for me." {When I had no one, you were there.} "If I can help you get together with someone you love, then whose to say that I wouldn't help?" {I will protect you no matter what.} "So what do you say? Want to give it a try?" {For you will always be family to me.}

He smiles brightly. The light coming back to his eyes. Nodding his head with such determination. It made me feel worth it. Like I have a purpose.

He yawns suddenly. "Are you tired?" "Yeah, all that cleaning and talking got me sleepy." I chuckle in amusement. Somethings seem to never change. "Go to sleep then dummy." He lays his head down on my lap. "Could you sing me to sleep? That one song you made back then. The one that would cheer me up on the dark days. Sing it to me LuLu." Nodding, I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Slowly letting it out, I open my mouth and singed with a soft calming voice. (A/N: you can play the video now.) While singing, I run my fingers through his hair, luring him to sleep as he seems to purr slightly.

{I'll protect you Naruto. I'll protect everyone. I'll create a world where people like you can live happily. Peace will be brought to this world. Even if I have to become the demon in everyone's eyes. I only hope you can forgive me for my actions in the future. It's nearly time.....I only hope I can spend as much time with everyone before it's too late.....}
