I sat in class, thinking about the strange boy who sat next me, "really" confused about my feelings about him.

"Class you're project will be due next month, which is January 1st, I want you and you're seating partner to work on it together."  Mr. Lester pointed at all of us.  "I didn't bother to make a list of the partners, so have fun with that."

"Wait, what is our project about?" Michael raised his hand, giving Mr. Lester weird looks.

"Now just wait, Michael.  The project is about something that changed your life, but here's the tricky part.  You're partner and you can't tell or say anything about the things you guys are writing about until the day its due."  Everyone gave him weird questioning looks, due to the fact that we will work on different things, apparently.

"What the hell?  How is this a 'Partner Project'."  Luke throws air quotes in the air with his fingers, furrowing his eyebrow together.

"Don't ask me-"

"What are you writing about?" His blue eyes hit me, his eyes were as cold as ice.  "Didn't you just hear him?  We can't say what we are going to write about." I scoffed at him and turned to look at the front, trying to ignore his glares I was receiving.

"We will just on January 1st.  Got it?" I muttered looking at my blank paper trying to think about what exactly the paper is going to be about.  Plus I have to show that I have to have a good grade for this class, or Mr. Lester is going to move me.  Honestly, I'll be fine with Winter or Michael, but everyone else.  Never.

"Hello, Earth to Bella?" Luke waves his hands in front of my face, causing me to jerk back from my seat.  "What's you're problem?" I snapped at Luke, sounding harsher then I thought I would sound.

"I was just talking about if you can do the project." Luke crumples his paper then attemps to throw it towards the trash bin.

Which he failed, miserably.

I studied Luke for a second.

The way his dimples would show whenever he would laugh or smile, or the way he would furrow his eyebrows together whenever he would trying to figure out something that he couldn't (which was most things).  Or just the way he looks in general, with the lip piercing that totally compliments his complexion.  Or the way he would bite his lip, constanly.  (It kills me, sometimes.)

So, what if I like Luke?  It's not like he would like me back, anyway.

It's just a small little crush that'll last for a week.  Probably.

im wrote this while decorating my christmas tree
