Chapter two
"kirsten darling... HOW DID THE TESTS GO!" Olivia screetched. I swear I have been in her house for no more than five minutes and shes already yelling. loud mouth.. what? Shh i didnt say anything.
"Maybe if you didn't YELL in my ear, I'd tell you." I laughed, clearing out my ringing ears.
"Oh c'mon, tell your bestie!" she whined.
"The test results will come within 24 hours, I dont know yet silly." I grinned.
"Oh... right... I knew that." She scoffed.
"Great, now lets go get ready we have to be at the 'surprise' by 4:00. That leaves us 1 hour to get ready." She exclaimed. She then draged me into her house and up the stairs to her bedroom. I could smell the sweet scent of apple blossom perfume. I saw all her one direction posters strung up on her lime green and blue walls. Her room hadn't changed at all.
"Where are we even going?" I questioned.
"I'm taking you to a huge surprise!! you will find out what it is when we get there." She smiled.
I groaned. I hate having to wait for surprises. It's so agonizing. Thinking of all the possibilities and have your hopes up when you think you figured it out, but you ended up being wrong.
She plopped me down on her bed and strutted into her closet. She rummaged around for a good five minutes before squealing like a girl and throwing me an outfit. A pair of black high waisted shorts with five buttons landed beside me and a simple red crop top landed right on my head. I giggled before stripping out of my clothes and slipping on her designated outfit.
After I was fully clothed and slipping on some red TOMs, she reappeared wearing her favorite light denim shorts. They were frayed on the ends and ripped, revealing floral pockets. She paired her look with a plain white v-neck, giving her a hipster look.
I then began sorting through her jewelry, pulling on a leather studded bracelet, large hoop earrings, and a long chained necklace. I decided to go for a rocker look. I then skipped over to Liv who was just finishing her very neutral make up.
I smiled at her before she yanked my wrist and tugged me down on her duvet. "What are you doing?" I chuckled.
"Your makeup silly!" She affirmed.
I rolled my eyes and let her dazzle my face with makeup. Olivia had a great artist gift when it came to makeup. She used to say she wanted to be a makeup artist for celebrities, but I think the dream died down and now she puts it on me instead.
I took a peak in the mirror where I watched her brush my eyes with an amazing smoky flare. She then addressed me to pucker my lips where she added the perfect red lip tint. I smiled at my reflection and gave her a thumbs up.
"Now it's my turn to have some fun!" I grinned. I then began working on her with my talent... Hair.
I decided to curl her brunette hair with my favorite curling wand. I took my time curling each strand to perfection. I then tied a pink handkerchief on her head as a headband and puffed up her bangs.
She took forever admiring her newfound curly locks while I simply straitened mine and added a fake, red, extension. It seemed to make my auburn hair pop a bit more towards the ginger side, but I am nowhere close to being a ginger.
"Girl you going for the punk look? You need these, not those ratty TOMS!" She groaned, throwing me a pair of studded heels.
"Ooh la la!" I admired. I slipped them on and threw the TOMS back at her.
"Ow, my head!" She screamed. I laughed even harder and began making my way to her car.
We hopped into her black Volkswagen bug. Want You Back by Cher Lloyd came on and I immediately began belching the lyrics in monotone.
After 30 mins we pulled up to our destination, City Place. "Umm, what's so special about city place?" I asked.
"There only letting certain people in tonight. 100 people who have tickets get the whole City place to themselves!" She squealed.
I forced a smile. I guess that was cool but I was expecting something huge like a new car or something. See what I mean about getting your hopes up?
We walked to the entrance and she handed a short plump man 2 tickets. He took them and let us in after giving Olivia a creepy grin. Stalker much!?
As soon as we were out of hearing distance, we burst into fits on laughter. "Oh he was totally checking you out Liv!"
"Haha... In his dreams!" She cackled.
We made our way into the center of city place while still chattering away about the pedophile ticket checker.
I glanced down at the floor and watched my feet as they strutted around in the super high heels. Suddenly a hard surface slammed into me and I groaned. Looking up, I see Olivia who had stopped walking right in front of me.
"Ughh Liv!" I groaned.
"We're here!" She exclaimed.
I looked at her with a 'what?' Expression but then I noticed what was in front of me. There was a table and behind that table were 5 gleaming guys. One had blonde hair, one had black hair, the rest brown. One had curly hair, one had a buzz cut, the rest quiffs. It was none other than One direction.
My insides filled with happiness and fear. Louis got up from his seat and dashed towards me. I dropped my purse and bolted to him. "Lou bear!" I screamed as he engulfed me in a hug.
"Krissy!" He laughed. He spun me in 3 circles and put me down.
Louis was my best friend. When we moved into my house, I was 3 and he was 4. He just came knocking on my door one day and we became friends. We did everything together, and I mean everything. I was going to try out for the x- factor with him but I have stage fright so I chickened.
I was sooo happy to see him, I have only seen him once since he left for the X-factor. "Why my tomato princess, your blushing!" He screamed while pinching my cheeks. I laughed and slapped his shoulder.
"Heyy!" He yelled sarcastically. I snickered and walked back over to Olivia.
My phone vibrated in my pocket and I pulled it out, unlocking it. "Hey Olivia? What is all this for?" I asked why simultaneously reading the new text message.
"We'll for passing ten years worth of cancer tests... Duh!" She informed.
I gulped, my heart sinking to my chest and the phone slipped from my hands. "Only one problem... I didn't pass this one."
