The smell of warm pancakes and bacon wafted in through the air vent. I opened my eyes and smiled. I slowly got out of bed, shoved my feet in my slippers, and walked down the stairs.

"Morning momma." I grinned. She smiled back and tossed me the carton of blueberries. "Why thank you." I mumbled, stuffing a handful of delicious blueberries into my big mouth. My mother let out a chuckle and returned to her breakfast cooking. I took the carton of berries with me to the couch and flipped on the telly. The news was on.

"One direction stuck in the middle of no where due to a flat tire?" A reporter said. Suddenly the lady had my full undivided attention. "Yes you heard it hear, on the way to Doncaster from London, the boys took a detour as a faster route. A nail went into a tour bus tire causeing it to go flat. The driver didn't realize and kept driving then after driving with it flat the tire ripped to shreds causing a very bumpy ride. Eventually it would not move very far and they had to stop." She smiled.

I was shocked, how could she be smiling? "But all you directioners out there, don't worry they called someone to bring them a new tire and they are now safely planted in Doncaster." She said. "Now back to you John."

I sighed with relief. It had been 1 week since I saw my boy Louis and I was quite disappointed he didn't stay longer, but I knew his career was more important. Besides if he stayed who knew how long it would have taked for him to figure out I was not longer cancer free, in fact I could feel a head renching headache approaching. I groaned.

I have had irritable, painful, terrible migraines all week. I stood up, walked to the kitchen and grabbed an Advil from the container. "Breakfast is ready!!" My mother screamed.

"Oh my goodness mother, owwww, please don't scream in my ear when I have a headache!" I groaned.

"Oops sorry dear, and really how are you feeling." She asked concerned. I grabed my plate of pancakes and bacon and head to the table ignoring her question.

My mother, father, brother, and 2. Sisters sat down at the table and we gobbled up our food. When we were finished I washed the dishes and headed up stairs to get ready.

************

"Alright mom I'm leaving. Love you!" I hollered. She smiled, gave me hug, and said goodbye. I strolled into the garage, opened it, grabbed my helmet, and hopped on my green mo-ped. I smiled as I kicked the kick stand in and drove away.

I loved the feeling of air rushing through my long hair. It was about the bet thing life could offer. I enjoyed the short ride and then parked it at the mall where I was going to meet Olivia.

When I walked inside, the cold air conditioning gave me a shiver. I walked off to Starbucks and ordered a Carmel frapachino. When I was handed my order I sipped it with delight. I walked around for a bit waiting for Olivia to text me she had arrived.

"Boo!" She yelled. I let out a small shriek, grabbed my pounding head, and turned around. Olivia was standing there all wide eyed and smiley.

"Are you kidding me?" I screeched. "Why do people keep screaming at me, my head is about to burst. I am pretty sure you don't want brain guys to clean up do you?"

She let a giggle. "Oops sorry how do you feel? Do you want to sit down? Your not dizzy are you?"

I looked at her, giving her the 'shut the hell up' look. "Stop treating me like I can't do anything for myself, I'm fine." I pouted, and stalked off.

She hurriedly caught up with me. "I'm sorry, I just get worried about you. I wasn't there when you were 7 and went through this before. I am new to this." She sighed.

I looked up at her deep dark eyes and smiled, giving her a big hug. "Apology exepted." I grinned. We locked elbows and skipped off to Victoria's secret.

************

"Oohh girl how about this one?" Olivia asked, a devil smile creeping up her lips. She held up a red push up bra. I snatched it from her hands. Holy shit, this bra was all padding. "Hell to the no girl. I don't want boobs that stick out all weird!" I laughed.

She stared at me sarcastically. "Dude, you have the tiniest boobs a 19 yr old can have. I mean seriously, 30 B?"

My mouth fell open as I stared at her. "It's a 32 B thank you!" I laughed. "I'll get the bra, but not in red you slut!"

She giggled and found a black one. "Here you go." She smiled handing me the bra.

"Black is no better!" I screamed.

She sighed, "Your no fun." And handed me it in beige.

We shopped around Victoria's Secret for a bit longer. We each ended up buying 2 bras, 3 pairs of undies, and some perfume.

***************

"Okay, so what's ya want to watch?" I asked. Olivia shrugged. "I dunno."

We eventually decided to watch re runs of old pretty little liars episodes. I had seen them all before but I don't care, that show is just so damn good.

I popped some popcorn and grabbed 2 coke cans after plopping a Advil in my mouth. I brought them up to my room. "Why chanx." Olivia smiled. "No problemo." I replied.

Not long after that I fell asleep.

Olivia's pov

I awoke to the light shining into Kirsten's bedroom. I rubbed my eyes, stretched, and yawned. I looked over to see kris fast asleep, snoring. I giggled and hopped out of the bed.

When I walked downstairs I found her mom getting her laptop, about to leave for work. He mother was a teacher.

"Good morning Olivia, how are you?" She asked. I smiled and nodded my head as if to say good, while plopping a muffin into my mouth.

"We'll I'm off to work, see you girls when I get home." She smiled. I replied with a goodbye and she left.

I flipped on the tv and a weather report came on. "Sunny today with nighttime thunder storms. Perfect day for going outside." The weather man said.

"Phh" I mocked. "Why you so chipper?" I flipped off the tv and walked upstairs to Kirsten's room. I went in her closet and found a Hollister shirt with some short black shorts and slipped them on. I brushed my hair and teeth and walked back into her bedroom.

I looked at Kirsten, she hasn't even stirred. I walked to her to shake her up. "Kris get...." Wow her back was warm. I touched her neck to feel it was even hotter and then her forehead burned at the touch. I shook her, "kris, kris are you okay? Wake up!" I shook her but she didn't budge.

"KKKIIRRSSTTEENN!!!!" I screamed.

There was no slight movement coming from her, then suddenly I reached to her to shake her one more time and as soon as the slightest finger touched her she began to violently convulse around. I screamed and quickly dialed her mothers number. She answered on the 2nd ring

Hello?

Hi, Kirsten was burning hot when I came to wake her. I shook her and screamed and she hasn't had the slightest move. Then all the sudden her body began to convulse and is still shaking!

Cal 911 il meet you guys at the hospital!

I realized I was crying as I made the 911 call. They answered, I told them what was wrong, and they said they'd be here immediately. I paced back and forth crying loudly taking to myself.

***************

A kind nurse came to me. "Hi Olivia. It's her tumor. Looks like her surgery is coming sooner." She said looking worried. At that her bed was quickly wheeled past me down the hall and into a large operating room.

I got a good look at her body. They got her to stop shaking and she was now pale and covered in sweat. She had a breathing mask over her face. And she almost looked dead. Before I knew it I bursted into tears once again.
