Piece 3

                 “Any other plans besides being busy with your stuffs?” my older brother asked me.

                “I don’t know maybe I need a break,” I looked at him. Tinignan niya din ako and I know that looked he will ask me why I need a break.

                “Why?” I told you. Bakit nga ba? Siguro simula nang nawala siya wala na akong ginawa kundi ifocus ko ang sarili ko sa trabaho at pagpunta sa mga club. Hindi ganito ang buhay ko nung nandito pa siya. Yung ganitong buhay masyadong stressful para akong isang robot na paulit-ulit ang ginagawa kada araw.Simula kasi nang dumating siya at binago niya ako, nadala na din ang pagbabago ng lifestyle ko. Pero nung nawala siya, bumalik na naman ako sa dating ako. At ayoko na ng ganun. Ayoko na.

                “I just…..actually I want to have that stress-free life again,” I look at him and I continue. “Alam mo ba Kuya, hindi na ako umuuwi sa bahay natin because of what happened and could you believe it mom and dad are looking for me?!” then I laugh. “Sobrang hirap Kuya, I just want to be free pero parang hindi ko kaya, I don’t know what to do kaya nga sobrang kong finocus ang sarili ko sa trabaho para hindi ko maisip, but It’s always hunting me. Those questions na gustong gusto kong itanong sa kanya, nandito pa rin at hinihintay siya,” Oh God! I literally broke down infront of my older brother. Masyado akong nadala basta kapag siya talaga ang pinaguusapan, hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko.

                “I know little sis, I know. Sorry but actually I came to you because mom and dad sobra na silang nag-aalala sayo. Even your bestfriend, tinaboy mo little sis. I know that you’re still in that situation pero mas mahihirapan ka kapag lagi mo din kaming tinataboy. Do you really want to be alone?” then I look at him with that question. Gusto ko nga bang mag-isa? Pagkatapos nang lahat ng nangyari sobra kong nilayo ang sarili ko sa kanila. Ito ba talaga ang gusto ko o natatakot lang ako?

                “I don’t know Kuya, I don’t know”

                “I know it too little sis, alam ko na nagugulahan ka pa. But always think we were always here for you,” and he gave me that assurance smile.

                We finished our lunch and were on our way to go back to my company. Having this bonding time with my elder brother help me to release some stress.

                “So?” anong tanong na naman ito.

                “Ano na naman ba Kuya?”

                He laughed. “Silly little sis, I will not ask some questions anymore. I just want you to give me a hug, aalis na ako.” Walang ano-ano, I immediately hug my elder brother. Then he whispers something. “Little sis, don’t stress too much. Learn to let go, it’s the only solution. Remember were always here for you,” because of what he said I hug him more tight. When I release the hug, I also kiss his cheeks and he smiled to me. “Bye, little sis,” then he enter his car and he lost in my sight.

                When I reached my office’s floor I saw Lizzie back to her desk. She greeted me and I gave her a nod and enter my office.

                Here goes nothing. I need to finish all this designs.

                I glance on my wall clock it’s already 11:49 in the evening. Few more minutes left before midnight. Hindi ko na napansin. Sobrang focus ako sa paggawa ng lahat ng trabaho ko. Actually, hanggang ngayong oras hindi pa siya tapos lahat but atleast I’m done with the rush and hard designs. Siguro pwede ko na lang ituloy yung iba bukas.
